Also, I'm hoping with all my heart ROB is one of the question marks.

<3 ROB, but I know he won't be in it ;_;
Sadly, I believe R.O.B. is more along the lines of those one-time "wtf" additions in the same way Dry Bowser was, and I do believe Metal Mario will serve that same purpose in MK7.

I main Yoshi in every single Mario Kart ever.

I'm not worried about my Main being in the next game.

I cannot wait to play as Metal Mario, Lakitu? Hmm..seems fun I guess, they should also have either Dixie Kong or K.Rool IMO.

I always play as Bowser (Or dry bowser) regardless of whoever they add.

Heavy characters are the only characters worth playing. I can knock you around AND out pace you

Hehe, Dry Bowser was the hardest to unlock in Mario Kart Wii, for me that is, I'm wondering how many tracks and courses MK7 will have on total, I'm honestly going to wait until MK8? gets confirmed on the Wii-U, there has to be one.

I love the Wii wheel, but I think I'd much prefer an attachment that stabilizes the top screen. You can twist and turn all you want, but you're going to have to deal with the top screen squeaking as it wiggles forward and backward.
I was thinking the same thing too. I personally wouldn't stand for all that wiggling...

That was one of my gripes about the 3DS in general...especially when games focused on the gyroscope aspect, which nulled the 3D. I guess it's not something you should take points off for when reviewing games, but given how I hear StarFox is pretty fun to play via gyroscope...but at the same time rocks the 3D makes the situation a bit frustrating.

Then again, no one listens to the Nintendo hater.

The DS was a perfectly legitimate system without the 3D, what's so bad about having a system that's the next generation DS?

Would it have been a horrible system if they hadn't included the 3D?

I don't know who you're replying to because nobody said that but-

There's nothing wrong with it. It's just stupid because the 3DS's entire marketing campaign has been focused almost exclusively on the 3D. The last two games I played for the system both utilize control schemes that make the 3D nigh-impossible to use, and now MarioKart has a whole peripheral that does this.

It just makes Nintendo look like they don't even know what they want the 3DS to be.

I've never played a resident evil game before, and I don't plan on playing one in the future.

My Gamestop preorder online also kept the 40 dollar pricetag despite it being 50 now.

As long as this stays, I'll be good. I think it will though since it's reflected on the site already and I don't see why they'd wait to tell the people who preordered that they're paying more than what they signed up for.

So, Japan got the Game Boy Color version of Balloon Kid, while North America got the original black and white Game Boy version. What the heck, Nintendo? Isn't it already bad enough that Japan has nearly twice as many games for the Wii and 3DS VC?

Yeah... Though tbh I'd rather get the original B&W versions where a remake exists, nostalgia factor is a big part of why I get VC games. What is Balloon Kid though? Similar to Balloon Fighter, but handheld?

It's a lot like Balloon Fight, but side-scrolling, and there's actually some story.

The eShop video made it look pretty fun.

It's good, but not super amazing. Also it really makes you realize how low-res the 3DS screen is.

the graphics are a bit jaggy but the 3D is really awesome.
The game starts off ridiculously easy, but about halfway through it starts to get REALLY fun.

my biggest problem is that Mario is not half as agile as he is in the Galaxy games.

I didn't get it because of the fact that it's designed to be a 2D Mario in 3D. I'm not particularly fond of the 2D Mario games myself. I think the 3D platformers is where Mario shines the most (Sunshine, Galaxy) so when I saw the gameplay, it just made me a Debbie Downer on the whole thing.

You're missing out. The game starts out as a 2D style Mario, and gradually turns into a Galaxy style 3D game. Mario platformers of all styles are given adequate playtime, except for SM64/Sunshine. I was wary for the first couple of worlds because those are very simple 2D style platforming, like NSMBWii with a 3D gimmick. But it really starts to pick up around world 3.

Also, there are 8 more worlds after you beat the game.

Sm3Dl impressions?

:phone:
I'm loving it. Level design is top-notch, nothing feels like too much work, Bowser segments have some level of difficulty, music is pretty good, specifically the original pieces, and the whole game has a certain kind of charm to it, on the level of SMW, SMB3, SM64, etc.

$40 well spent imo.

Also
that one level (well two levels) with disappearing/reappearing platforms based on the beat of the music is one of my favourites, no contest.

I got Cave Story 3D and it's awesome, but I have to set it aside for Mario 3DL

It starts off super damn easy, but omg it gets so good after a few worlds.

took me about 2/3 hours to beat the main game (the first 8 worlds) give or take. I'm fairly terrible at the game so I've died a lot in the last half so it may have taken me longer than others. I also didn't get all the Star Coins on most of the levels.

I dunno. I could have been playing longer. I really don't know because I played for bits at a time. All I know is I got it two days ago and I've beaten the main game and I wasn't playing THAT much. though to be fair it IS only half the game.

actually, is there a thing on the 3DS that tells you how many hours you've logged on games, like on the wii?

I want to get the game but the fact that the game is that short is a bit of a turn off.

Yeah, I think it's one of the apps, it opens up like a book and tells you things like how much distance you've logged, how much you've played each game, average playtime session, longest playtime session, etc.
