City wars definitely happen, I know a mets/jets fan and I think he hates the yankees more than anyone else I know...

Subway series are the best.

And hey, I am a fan of New York. First I'm Jets (father was, I don't see why I shouldn't), then I am Giants. I was brought up in a house that didn't discriminate against our home state.

Don't see why I should.

I just don't like the Cowboys. Has nothing to do with them being in my state, though I'm not a hard Texans fan. Actually, I'm unsure whether I don't like the Cowboys because the Eagles are my NFC team, or if the Eagles are my NFC team because I don't like the Cowboys...

Yea city wars are very apparent. I can honestly say zio is the 1st person I've heard that likes both teams.

It happens for all sports, jets/giants, Knicks/nets, Yankees/mets, rangers/islanders.

I'm so incredibly content with that fumble. Sucks they couldn't get 14 on the board, but I'm satisfied with a field goal.

I was rooting for the Ravens but thought the Pats would win.
Now here's hoping the Giants can beat the 49ers for a Superbowl rematch.

I couldn't sleep at night if I missed that kick. Good on the Pats for winning, but what a terrible finish.

I'm happy the Pats advanced, but that's a really sucky way for the Ravens to lose. Poor Cundiff, I hope he doesn't get too down about it.

I'm watching a stream off of a Wii from someone in the U.K. and it's better than all of the streams from the states xD

Honestly this was the last match I'd have predicted, especially at the beginning of the Play-offs.

I predicted the playoffs correctly at the start of the post-season. I wish I had $$ so i could have gone to Vegas and made a lot betting on the underdog Giants every week. I just knew the Manning would prevail, and the Manning shall prevail in Superbowl 46 too :). And if anyone is doing the Papa Johns contest and want to follow my good luck, pick tails for the opening kickoff to win a free pepsi and pizza.

Dumb *** endings to both games

special teams LOL
anyways this is kind of a dumb looking super bowl
brady is gonna have to have the game of his life against that defense
and eli is gonna have a good ol time with that pats defense

will have to see what happens but the giants look like the one to get it on paper
still will watch though hopefully better then i think

EDIT
LMFAO just saw this

"I was going to the super bowl but then i took a ball to the knee"

If you watched the game, aside from a few big plays, the receivers were not getting any separation. Crabtree is good, but he's a 2nd option at WR. They need a true WR on their team. IMO, they should have been running the ball more. A few times, they decided to pass when they had the run going, and it cost them drives.

Anyways, I'm happy for my Niners. They came a long way from last year and expectations will obviously be high given what Arizona and Seattle can do. I'm not sure if the Run D will be as good, but the pass D can always improve. Alex Smith has probably hit his ceiling, so I wonder if I would pull the trigger on Peyton Manning.

Go Giants.
