Another bogus call. Roughing the passer? BS.

And come on, the Giants are trolling the Packers whenever I post those. Hail mary to end the half?

There is a difference between the posts:

'Man, Giants are just trolling the Pack with that hail mary at the end of the half XD'

and

'TROLOLOLOLOLOL'

Go with the former if that's what you're trying to convey.

Again, look at the time of my post and the action on the field and it makes sense. I know this is not a live chat, but the timing is still there. But whatever. Moot point.

2 bad calls by the refs (fumble and roughing passer) = 14 points.

Don't want to derail the thread any more but last point: your posts have to be relevant. If I have to bust out my cape and pipe and sit for an hour in my living room, slowly deducing what your short, nonsensical post is actually referring to, then it's still spam. Just be clear in your post or at least refer to what your post is referencing.

I predicted the Giants beating the Packers a week ago. Come to me if you're a betting man. Some people made bank betting on the Giants in Vegas I bet.

Giants - Patriots Superbowl, Giants win the Superbowl. They're on the freaky run of 2007 again.

What worries me about the 49ers is did they use all their emotion vs the Saints? Will they come out flat like the Broncos did after upsetting the Steelers? Does Vernon Davis have more tears to give out, or was that their Superbowl right there? I wouldn't be surprised if the 49ers won, but I'm just going to give the nod to the road warriors and that they won't turn it over five times.

Giants 24, 49ers 21. Patriots 30, Ravens 21. Giants Pats Superbowl.

I am quite pleased with the Giants.

At least some of New York is still doing good this season.

I had a feeling it would be a close game, but that was just a bad game for the Packers.

The only thing I hate about this outcome is that the one team that looked like they could take on anyone will not be there and it almost looks like a free ride for the Pats, if you look at how the Ravens performed today.

Oh well. We shall see. I HOPE THE PATS LOSE NEXT WEEK >:(

49ers > Giants
Pats > Ravens

As much as I hate the Pats and really want the Niners to win, I have a hard time picking them in that match-up :/

Pats > 49ers IMO

I wouldn't have confidence in picking this one way or the other if the super bowl were on a truly neutral field, but they like to have it in a dome or warm weather location almost every year so I'll take the pass happy offense over the dominant defense. GB lost that game more than the Giants won it in my eyes, I don't expect San Fran to do that and the Ravens only show up for home games this year...

Giants are the only team I really hate remaining but I could at least find some pleasure in them winning with Eli having one more ring than Peyton, always thought it was ridiculous that he was overshadowed because of his brothers regular season dominance when I see Eli performing better in the playoffs most of the time.

Oh well. For whoever wins this one, the Super bowl is definitely going to be Ravens v Greenbay
i agree :troll:

Side notes: Saints are garbage away from home, they were bound to lose.
Brady is hungry like the wolf and wasn't planning on losing.
When Giants are hot i don't think anyone can beat them.

Do I really have to pick between the Patriots and the Ravens for the AFC championship? This is a Steelers fan's worst nightmare.

Go NFC, I don't care which one.

The only reason I would root for the patriots is because their offensive coordinator is becoming Penn State's new head coach next season.

I'm surprised there aren't as many Niner fans as Cowboys, Pitt, and Packers. I mean, the 49ers have had a huge down time, but this team was competing from the 80s to early 2000s. So many HoF players, so many great moments...and yet it seems like SF is neglected by the media.

Out of sight out of mind.
If you aren't winning now why waste money covering them?
And now they are winning=coverage

Cowboys have had like one good season since their last superbowl and still get top coverage.

Wern't the Packers or Steelers voted higher in a poll for "America's Team?"

And SF has 5 SB titles I believe. Two of those being back to back.

I thought it was a former president that dubbed the Cowboys as "America's team." I could be wrong.

49ers have stayed relatively healthy though overall. It'll be interesting if they lose now, if they can make it as far next year. We've seen how easy it is to do good and then the next year spiral out of control downwards. Obviously on paper "They are set up for success!" etc, but still.

Also, when you're battling with the Rams for the cellar of the NFC West for most of the last 7 years, that is why the 49ers aren't getting coverage. Just like people outside of Seattle probably didn't hear about the Seahawks much once Mike Holmgren left, but nothing has changed in the area here. Still selling out games even with the 4/5/7/7 win seasons, etc.
