McFox didn't post much around the time I made those list of quotes to other people, yourself included. That could be why. Also, it might be because he could compare me to well ChibiCat when he made those massive quotings in Smash Bros. Mafia. Give his quote posts there a read when you have the time, they're very good.

Why are you answering for McFox, when you don't know exactly why he did it?

Let's lynch Frohawk. The things you pointed out about him are pretty much exactly in line with how I felt about it (I know, big shocker there), except for obviously the parts where you think we're working together. I'm still convinced Rocket is scum, but since town seems unwilling to lynch him (for now) and deadline is coming up in 24 hours (again), I don't have a problem lynching Frohawk.

McFox, why do you get onto Rocket for asking who is townie to someone, but didn't say anything when Super Smash Bros Fan created his list? It is essentially, in the end, providing the same information

Well for one, he wasn't asking someone else to make a list, he made his own. The fact that he'd already made it by the time I saw it meant I couldn't prevent him from doing so. You're right though, I've been trying to keep on top of making sure to post about good and bad strategies, and I missed that one.

Still, there is a big difference between rating all the players on a sliding scale, and specifically asking another player "Hey, who would you not lynch?" Also, the fact that I think Rocket is scum makes my criticism of him vs. SSBF biased, to say the least.

SSBF - I can answer for myself. The fact that you stepped in for me now makes it look like we're linked, when in fact we are not.

I'm trying to get something done. Nobody seems to want to vote for Rocket (or anyone, for that matter), and I'm trying to secure a lynch. Lest I sound like a "broken record," the deadline is in a little over 24 hours. Town is sitting on its *ss not doing anything. I've been trying to push Rocket's lynch for over a week at least, and town is sitting around going "Well, I don't know... what about this...? maybe.... something like what you said.... but that guy's scummy..?.. possibly?"

Since clearly Rocket isn't going to be the lynch toDay, and since Mayling was absolutely right about her assessment of Frohawk's opening statements. I think it's more of a noobtell than a scumtell, but if it'll mean a lynch instead of us just taking a nap while the deadline passes us, then fine.

Besides, what are you implying Clowbot? That I am secretly in league with Frohawk and am willing to bus him based on the testimony of a single townsperson? If I wanted Frohawk out of trouble, it wouldn't be difficult to do. All I'd have to do is wait 24 hours. Town so far has not convinced me that it's willing to take any kind of affirmative action to do anything, so I'd just wait until the deadline passes. We'd No Lynch, or we'd scrambled for one at the very last moment, likely on the wrong person.

I'm trying to inspire action. To motivate people to DO something. I tried to motivate scumhunting, but the only new player I've really seen put any kind of work into that is SSBF. So I thought I could at least motivate town to make an informed lynch, but town still refuses to say or do anything helpful. At this point I'll be pretty surprised if we do end up lynching anyone.

The way town has played so far is just allowing the mafia to coast by. Not "coast" as in "lurk," but I mean like you would coast in one of those wave pools at a water park. Just stay on the surface, easily ride the tide, and there'll be no trouble at all. If we continue to play like this, scum is going to win the game, I guarantee it.

You said that I was the only one who is actually trying to scumhunt and whlie I do thank you for that, I'm not the only one who has really attempted to scumhunt.

I've also seen Guus, Sworddancer., and especially Clownbot contributing to the situation as well.

McFox, why do you want the day to end before the last 48 hours of the deadline? I know that toDay has been unproductive, but you stated that you have been doing this in other Mafia games as well, and I just want to know why you think that might be a good idea.

Anyways, Frohawk, I think you should read the rules over and some basic strategy before playing (I'm not trying to sound mean just so you know). Not refuting others who accuse you is really really bad, especially if you know your town, because it makes you look very scummy. If anything, lynching hawk will help prove rather or not Mayling was right about about Mcfox.

Hawk has made so many anti town posts in just a short amount of time that I almost find it hard to believe that scum would do that. I would think that his partner would help him out a bit more. What does bug me, though, is when hawk states "I find your Post quite helpful to find my inconsistencies ^_^ which i have to improve for higher game.". When he admits to having inconsistencies in his posts it sounds like he's admitted to being scum. But I just don't know, the scumtells just sound too good.

I am worried that Hawk might be playing a reverse psychology, but I doubt any scum would risk it.

Also, about Rocket, the point that Mayling made about how since there are two mafia groups that would encourage scum to be more active was excellent. But still, Rocket, still bothers me with the way he has been playing the game so far, and I'm going have to vote for him.

Wow ****ing self-voters, that's the worst thing you can do in the game. If you're town and self-vote I'm gonna be so incredibly mad, because I've played with someone who did that before. He was the dude that got offended when everyone goes for him on day 1 and then he's like NAH **** IT!

When I reread everything, I thought "hmm, I might change my vote", but no. You can't just vote yourself off like that if you're town.

I said he obviously wasn't the play toDay, because, despite my WANTING him to be the play toDay, no more votes have been put on him in over a week. It just looked like town did not want to lynch him. I guess I was mistaken?

I didn't say I wanted to end the Day early, I said I wanted to decide the lynch early. These are two vastly different things. I don't like like ending the Day early, I think we should get the maximum amount of time we can out of each Day. However, on SWF, the lynch is usually decided within the last 48 hours of a Day. This means that, no matter how much discussion takes places on a given Day (even if that Day is two weeks long), INEVITABLY, in the last 48 hours someone will suddenly show up with some new candidate (see: Mayling presenting Frohawk) and everyone will jump over to this new person, and 95% of the time it's the wrong person, because town had a perfectly good lynch candidate before.

There's nothing wrong with making up your mind BEFORE hours before the deadline.

I'm glad it seems to have swung back to Rocket (and his self-vote even FURTHER makes him look bad). Deadline is tonight, and I will be available all day, so I will hammer later. If he unvotes himself, then I will put my vote on him.

Before you people start, we need to realize that we need to remain active in this game and not let this thread go to waste. McFox and Mayling may be dead, but that does not excuse us being inactive. We have to keep this thread active because this is an oppertunity for newbies to learn how to play the game.

With that speech over, let's go down to business.

I'll narrow it down to Frown and xxFrohawkxx.

Frown: Haven't really made any significant post here. Most of his posts have been scummy and he made himself look like an idiot by voting for himself early in Day 1.
xxFrohawkxx: There is seriously not much good in him. I haven't really seen a good post from him yet, plus he even voted one of the most helpful member in here which is a disgrace.

These are the most likely scums of the group. I'll do Vote: xxFrohawkxx and an FoS: Frown.

I was re-reading to see any possible leads for anyone who Mayling could have been allied with as scum but the only lead I found was TWILT/Raptor.

Reading twilt more as an uncaring townie than anything else.

Now this isn't much evidence. At first glance it doesn't even look like buddying; perhaps it's not. Later on, Mayling does state suspicion of TWILT due to his alleged lurking and lying about his actions, but she never places a vote on him.

Just wanting to throw this out here. We should try to go for the other Mafiosi toDay so we can eliminate one entire faction which will mean that only one kill can occur per night, and one way to do that is to look at Mayling's post to try and find someone, but this is all I saw.
