I think the problem for S and I in this fight is that Kabuto has to be alive. Otherwise, Kabuto would be a pillar of double Amaterasu flame right now.


Also, I just had a thought. Was Edo Tensei said to only work if the target is dead?

Edo Tensei cannot resurrect the living. Otherwise it'd be beyond OP. Kabuto could have Edo Tensei of literally every character he's encountered. The various Kage, Naruto, Sasuke, Bee, etc.
