There have been a number of Naruto threads before, but they seem to have gotten disappeared with all the other old topics.

I like Naruto pretty well, but I think it took a turn for the worse shortly after the timeskip. Hidan and Kakuzu were probably my least favorite Naruto villains thus far, and I'm still not liking it as much as I was before they made their appearance.

I liked it when ninja fought intelligently, or at least cleverly. It seems like there's a lot less of that going on recently.

There seems to be a lot of stupid interruptions going on in between the fights. I'm only on episode 22 of Shippuuden, but seriously, either tone down the fights to the ones that matter, or don't create so many simultaneous situations. I don't need 4 episodes to resolve a single duel.

Still I give the show credit. it has a hell of a lot of heart.

I think it's funny that the show addressed this, but I think Naruto would be a better show if Naruto wasn't the main character. His personality is annoying, and he's not even an underdog anymore really. Well, he's an underdog in that he only really has two good moves, but that just makes him boring, not compelling. Naruto and Sakura should get killed by Akatsuki and have Kakashi, Jiraiya, Gaara, and Rock Lee team up and swear revenge against Akatsuki. Also, Shikamaru gets assigned to the mission.

Also, there should be no flashbacks, ever. Flashbacks can work but the show just abuses them more than anything else I've ever seen.

If I knew how to edit video and audio well, I would totally make an abridged Naruto Shippuden. Not parodying it like Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged and others, I mean I'd cut out the useless scenes and flashbacks and characters explaining things that the viewer already knows.

Hidan and Kakuzu were interesting villans to me, i feel their part in the story was a bit rushed though, had they gotten more depth they could have been far better to the story.

About the intelligently thing I think that that really depends on the Ninja fights, I would not expect Gaara to be that way over using force where as in the manga the current fight between in Jiriya and Pein seems like there will be a lot of thinking involved.

Team Gai is the most annoying part of the Shippuuden, all the air time they get is so not needed -.-

Naruto was good a while back. Not anymore. Both manga and anime. Pretty much after the time skip the show went to hell. I don't watch it or read it anymore. There simply are superior animes/manga to see.

So right. I mean Really, They explain all the advantages, disvantages and Uses of their techniques. Somehow the stupid ninjas never use them for their benefit.

And Flashbacks shouldnt exist in NAruto. Let me make a review of the Charachters ( I wont review the series, I havent seen all the filler yet)

I love naruto i watch the english version for about a year untill i started to watch the japanese version. favorite characters Shekamaru pein hinata naruto neji in no particular order.

I don't understand how people are SO obsessed with this show. There are people that make this a lifestyle. Theres people at my school who wear the little headband and goggles or whatever. Its just really annoying.

yea i almost started to hate the show because of people like that. But the akatsuki outfit is pretty cool.

I'm not a fanatical fan of the series, but I enjoy watching it and have a few of the manga volumes. It just annoys me how one-dimensional some of the main characters are, for example:

Sasuke: REVENGE REVENGE REVENGE Naruto, you're a loser REVENGE REVENGE
Sakura: OMG SASKAY!

That's pretty much their entire personalities in the first two or three seasons. I just wish Zabuza didn't die, I liked him.

i think people still watch the show because it actually was good and entertaining up until the time skip and near 100 filler episodes... so the fans just wanna see what happens next... Kinda hard to go through all that and not see it through to the end no matter how boring it is or how many times they take 2-5 episodes to explain something and finish a fight that should be done in ONE episode... but then again that seems like a common theme in alot of anime... DBZ anyone??

Yes, DBZ did that a lot. It took Goku around 10 episodes to make his spirit-bomb against Frieza xD.


Dragonball on the other hand was just plain awesome. I LOVE the World Martial Arts Championships saga's. With Master Roshi disguised as Jackie Chan xD!

Naruto is awesome. Naruto Shippuuden is epic. Shikamaru is my most favrotie chracter of the bunch, and Neji is my second most favoirte chracter. I only watch the anime, any type of manga bores me.
