Everything else was nice and somehow predictable, but episode overall was nice, I really liked it.

7/10 <- bar set too high, no episode has hitted 10 on it yet.

It's just a nice analysis. Something interesting to read through. Wouldn't hurt to stick it in the OP.
I DO want to know exactly where it's shown that Applejack "doesn't think things through".

I've seen much more examples in the show displaying a contrary idea of Applejack's "preparedness" of events. What examples from the show display Applejack's lack of planning? The only example I could think of is The Best Night Ever, where she didn't consider that there would be food prepared at the Gala.

Hell, she has some of the more effective impromptu planning in the show. Herding the Parasprites into the Everfree Forest and keeping the group together for safety during their trek to the mountain in Dragonshy, along with other examples, more or less convince me that Applejack leans more on the "think things through" side of that particular fence.

That reminds me, at a tournament yesterday, I found 3 other guys that recognized +20% , RDash, and ForEq tags. Needless to say, I was very satisfied. Finding other bronies IRL always puts a smile on my face.

And apparently , RDash can mean Roscoe Dash too :/
