So there are two problems here...Assuming that Brawl will be brought back next year, how will seeding work for the brackets? Will this season's points be used in addition to next season's accumulated points? Will it just be this season's accumulation counting toward the first event of next season? I'm trying to find out if there's an incentive to accumulating points even if someone doesn't have pro status toward the end of this season.
Using the above seeding procedure, perhaps. However, it may depend which events they earned their points at, etc. That is a very specific question, and without exact rules that cover that, I can't really answer it yes or no. If SSBB is back for 2011, ask that question again. So, if SSBB is used again, lets say there is a tie in the 3rd event between let's say Lee Martin and Tyrant
Lee Martin, let's say, had 4500 points after all 5 2010 events, and Tyrant had 4250. Lee Martin will be seeded ahead of Tyrant that event because he has more points in 2010?
Selling out DC and Dallas will definitely be pluses. That's a good enough answer and explains it pretty well, Deimos. Thanks.
Also, in your expert opinion, what would be the absolute best way to encourage MLG to bring Brawl back next year? The community really loves the whole MLG experience and it would be a shame to lose it again.
The hotel should be announced soonish. Keep checking here: http://pro-circuit.mlgpro.com/pro-circuit/2010/dallas/event-informationi just bought my Ticket to Dallas :D Thursday 4 Novemeber :D
Estoy hptamente :D Feliz :D
I want to know what hotel! is going to be announced for all players...that r commin to Dallas D:
Can i use CLASSIC CONTROL ???? (sry to ask this but i didnt understand that part of the MLG Rules...
The Player Standings should be updated soon. When updated, they can be found here: http://www.mlgpro.com/2010/SuperSmashBrosBrawl/LiveCompetition/PlayerStandingswhen will the pro rankings be updated?
Technically wrong. You can mod a CC/CCPro into a wired controller. It's a lot of work to do properly, though. There's nothing in the rules saying you can't, and when I asked I didn't get told no, so I'd assume it's fine. You cannot use the classic controller. Must use GC controller.
That would be really dumb if points lasted forever.. It'd be impossible for a new player to avoid M2K first round. (Which is already pretty hard)Really Fatal?
That is lame, I thought it was cumulative forever
The rules I posted were for Raleigh. So once the rules are released for DC, they may be different as rules tend to change from event to event in some shape or form.Has the "more buttons than the first party Gamecube controller" part always been there? I don't remember reading that before.
Correct. Pause should be turned off. But sometimes players will mess with the settings. Thus if pause is turned on, and a player pauses a game, the rule will come into effect.@BLM its supposed to be turned to off. if its on and they play t hough in tournament, that would mean they both agree to it (otherwise i could just pause if im getting 3 stocked vs big lou and have a do over)
Eventually, once we have your PPA forms.do pros get access to the mlg pro forum? I got a few suggestions for stuff :]
2011 season details will not be released until January/February.when is the next time u guys are going to have a tourney in orlando?
