Marth does a standing regrab, but inches forward during the actual grabbing of Ness/Lucas.
It's NOT an infinite.

That doesn't change the fact that if Marth grabs Ness in one end of the stage there's no way of me living unless he messed up the regrabs.

Quick Question about Dallas.
Do the pro players also have to buy a pass? The passes go on sale before the top 16 is finalized, so I was unsure how it would work.
We will reserve enough passes for the Pro Players/People with a reserved pass after DC, so that if you fall into one of those two categories after DC, you'd still get a player pass.

However, if you don't know if you'll still be a Pro Player, or if you don't get top 16 in DC, and you are worried about the passes selling out, you may want to purchase one when they go on sale.

If it is DC, no.

If it is Dallas, yes. She has to buy a spectator pass.
This is correct. Spectator passes are free in DC.

However, in Dallas, they will be 25$.

We don't need to get any forms in for DC if we are in the top 16 and sent our forms in already, right? I can just walk into the DC doors, get my stipend, and be registered for singles and doubles??

Do you even have a pass for DC yet? I don't see your username, The_ADHD, on the player list.

If not, you need to email jnelson@mlgpro.com asap and tell him that you are coming to the event. Make sure to provide your MLG username.

im thinking of giving my pass to boss how do i do so?
If your no longer attending, you can transfer your player pass to another player by emailing jnelson@mlgpro.com

Thanks!

I also noticed that in the top 16, ADHD, Dojo, and DSF are all tied in points, yet are seeded 14th, 15th, and 16th, respectively. Are these placings set in stone, or are they going to be randomized for the DC bracket (assuming they all attend)?

They are ranked by whoever has the freshest points. in this situation, adhd got points from the last mlg, followed my dojo @ columbus, and dsf at Orlando.

I'm purchasing Sleek Media's pass and I wanted it transferred over to my account which is D1 on MLGPRO.com

How does one go about doing so?

I have heard rumor of MLG Dallas having an amateur bracket day one, and then the top 32 from amateur bracket move to the championship bracket. (The current top 16 who have earned pro status automatically get a bye into the championship bracket)

please help clarify how brackets will work during MLG Dallas

When 8 Players remain in the Open Bracket (4 Winners Bracket Players & 4 Losers Bracket Players), the Open Bracket will end and each Player will qualify for the Championship Bracket.
The Championship Bracket will support as many as 16 Players.
The top 8 Players, determined by SSBB Pro Status Rankings, will receive Automatic Bracket Qualification for the Championship Bracket. Players without an Open Bracket Match loss will start in Championship Bracket Winners Bracket Round 1. Players who lose a Match in the Open Bracket will start in Championship Bracket Losers Bracket Round 1.

To transfer a pass from one account, to another, the Account that purchased the pass must email jnelson@mlgpro.com , from the email linked to their MLG account, and request to transfer the pass to the other account. The user accepting must also submit a email from the email linked to that MLG account, and accept the transfer.

This isn't really a rumor. It has been this case since the day SSBB was announced for the 2010 Pro Circuit :)

This is correct:

Why is there no live stream for brawl and there is one for pretty much every other event?

Jv. Confirmed. Nintendo finally gave a response. Of no.. sadly :(
Are you serious?!

There HAS to be something MLG can do... Having a livestream is a huge part of the hype. I have a ton of friends who don't even play the game that are interested in watching a stream. The game is gradually becoming more exciting to watch as players get better, having streams would make us huge...

And yeah I also have ADHD's same question.

Also, for MLG Dallas is there going to be 128 spots or 256 spots? And will championship bracket have 16 or 32 players? Is any of this subject to change?

Who do I contact for a stipend/to confirm I am attending Dallas?
Email jnelson@mlgpro.com

We will be emailing the top 16 soon, but if you know you are top 16 now, feel free to email him now to let him know your coming.
