smash down on the control stick and press b when your glide starts. but only do it one time

@rmelee
you can only onmigay if they shield drop the nade and pick it back up as an item. also you MUST be a higher controller port. (if your player 1 it wont work at all)
Smash down first, then B? or simultaneously?

I have recently been practicing the claw grip (using pointer finger to hit jump) and I was wondering if I could get any pointers from anyone who has successfully turned over. I find it much easier to DI while in the air, aswell as preform fast fall Uairs, but I do not always know the best time to switch to claw - do I do it 100% of the time or no?

How long did it take to completely learn how to use it properly?

Any other info would be great, thanks.

"To glide, do a jump, then a midair one. If you continue holding down the jump button then you will start gliding. Or, at the peak of your jump, rapidly tilt the control stick/pad to also start gliding (you must use this method using the Wii Remote (sideways) control scheme.) Meta Knight can also start gliding by using his Shuttle Loop."

How aggressive is too aggressive, and what's the right amount of defensive for those times you need to hold back?

When you screw up your spacing because you're fast and then you get punished.

Here's a quick way to know if you're being too aggressive 95% of the time.

Are you approaching? If so, you're probably being too aggressive (well unless you're being outcamped, but only a few characters can do that).

I like to constantly put pressure on people I play with, but sometimes I feel like I'm playing meta wrong. I have been trying to hold back but it ends up with me losing again, or just not properly taking advantage of situations.

How do I tech Game & Watch's downgrab + down smash?
What attack should I use after key? (Down Air)
What should I do if Game and Watch is too high to hit?
What should I do when Game and Watch is coming back, but constantly air dodges so I can't UpB?
What should I do when Game and watch uses Forward smash and guards the area?
What should I do when I do neutral air and game and watch hits?
How do I prevent being edge hogged when finishing Up B?

How do I prevent Jigglypuff's rollout attack?

why are you asking this on Meta boards. Go to GaW boards little scrub.

I have a question for you metaboards, what are you guys gonna do if meta is banned? Not that I'm for it I think its pretty stupid. If your gonna ban Meta then your gonna have to ban Snake and etc. I think kids are mad cuz they lose to a meta somewere and just wont accept that they got out played. Sorry ganon boards. Either way meta is probobly the easiest match up to learn considering how many scrubnubs play him. Take some time, learn the match up and stop *****ing. peace.

Why are you calling him a little scrub? I don't think you even know what that means.
He's asking those questions because he wants to know how to deal with the GW MU specifically. Think a little.

If MK gets banned I'll just pick a different character. Simple.
And that logic doesn't work. So if I can beat 50000230428408423084293849238 bad Snake players, that means the MU is easy to learn and I know it thoroughly now? No..
It's not only that MK is the best character, it's also because of his scrooging and timing out crap.

I don't think you know what that means. And if you beat that many snakes that means you only have like 4 to worry about and those odds are good. And if you beat that many snakes that means you learned he match up. You just haven't learned how to play those 4 people that are left.

Colloquially, it refers to a bad player; however, this is not fully correct. A scrub is a player who places artificial rules on himself solely to limit his skill.
I don't understand how asking a couple of questions in order to improve oneself is a scrubby thing to do.

I was exaggerating on the number..
For instance, Mew2King can beat almost any Diddy Kong. Why does that mean he knows the match up? He's not that great at it, (Nor am I so I really shouldn't be one to talk, but whatever.) and he admits it himself.

So yeah. If MK is banned I'll pick someone else. I highly doubt this will happen though, I don't know about you. :S

idk were you got your definition of scrub because your the only one who thinks that. If he can beat almost any diddy player that means he knows the match up but he doesnt know how to play one diddy thats better than him because they could play different like normal diddys, like ally could than different snakes.

To dair camp I just need to keep myself above my opponent and do tippers dair, right?
And does it work with every character? Because I have trouble doing this on Marth and G&W.

Uh.. Sorta. It's used to zone really, but a couple of characters can counter it, like Diddy.

Shield the Ftilt? I mean, if he's doing that all the time then you can just shield it and grab..

you can approach with everything you have you just need to mix it up.
so you dont get pivot grabed,f-tilted, or up-tilted

i like to air camp than drop down and try to pock him with a down tilt or f-tilt.
snakes hard when the snake is really good at the MU thats why when you get that first hit you need to follow it up fast and control the hell out of him with u-airs,grabs,and tornados.

hope this helps.

Yah that's my biggest problem is following it up.

i can some times get in his face and attack but its doing a good 40-60% of harassing that's tough for me.

Thanks though for the info :D
