Is anybody going to be online doing the operation? Because playing gold with randoms is impossible lately, I'm thinking its because gold is now overflowing with less experienced players because of the operation.

Anyways my gamertag is the same as my username on Smashboards : Master Xanthan

I most likely will since I'm waiting for the new Uncharted 3 patch (the current one all but makes it impossible to play on any DLC maps, meaning I put $30 into getting all the DLC maps but now can't play on them because they almost NEVER come up).

Of course, I'm on PS3, so that might complicate things.

I don't know if it's just me because I have PC, but my loading times for MP have become ridiculously slower than before. It takes a long time for that loading screen to pass up, in and out of lobbies and matches. It's happening to another friend of mine too.

And I'm really hating on that Cloak nerf. It really hurts my ability to be an effective Infiltrator. Rather than being incredibly mobile (especially my GI) and being able to do well in the open space, I can only just stick to one tight area and hope that when my cloak finishes, I didn't overlook an enemy flanking me or something. Of course, I can use that Cloak 4 150% duration bonus from ~5 sec to ~11.5 sec, but I miss out on the 40% damage bonus. Ugh.

I can see this as being a balance though, at least for a GPS/Melee GI since that's the one I play most of the time. We were pretty good, lol. I just think shortening the base duration from 8 to 4 was too much of a low blow.

Either that or I'm just playing horribly, lol. Tips?

Oh, and as for Prox. Mine, should I go Radius or Damage for rank 4? I've been using Radius as crowd control to make enemies "stumble", but I've never tried the Damage before.

Your computer might be getting slower due to Origin acting like spyware and always scanning your computer. Its the main downside of playing EA games on the PC.

If you're playing anything other than a Proxy GI you're playing him wrong. Damage, Damage, Damage on Proxy mine, 0 points in Fitness, and everything buffed for Power Damage (except go for Speed and Vision on HM)

Seeing as though Infiltrators don't have to worry about weight you can choose whatever weapon you want, obviously a Krysae and Claymore are the best.

Edit:

Also I'll be on in a bit Xanthan.

I can understand having no Fitness, but what's with the favor on Power Damage? Is it better than going for the Weapon Damage?

---- Looking it up on that build creator, I guess the only Weapon/Power dispute I am concerned about is in Networked AI 4.

I'm using GPS V since my Claymore is at level 2/3 or so. Or should I just use the Claymore? :]

You need an ex-Cerb for it basically.

Also oh snap has everyone seen the new classes in action? They look insane, that Adept looks freaking amazing her dodge teleports her.

Edit:

Power Damage for your Proxy, they take 20% more damage from all sources and I think it stacks (it's either that one or the 30% damage one that stacks) so you don't need weapon damage. Pretty much a Krysae above level 5 or 6 can kill a Pyro in 2 bullets after they've been hit by a Proxy, and that's with Proxy buffs rather than weapon.

In other words TC and Proxy will make those weapon buffs pointless as they easily do the job.

There's footage of the new classes? Link, link, LINK. :bee:

Some guy tried trolling my match, came in and deliberately messed up the spawns over and over, and shot at me with his Geth Pulse Rifle when I told him to stop, so I realised he was doing it deliberately.

He got downed, to which I told the other 2 guys to leave him as he's behaving like a little ***** so he can revive himself.

He ragequit after he bled out 3 waves in a row. Lol.

He had a Geth Pulse Rifle? Well that right there tells you he's trolling.

Can't headshot with the Krysae and AP doesn't work on it. Not that it matters because you can score multi-kills with it and can just aim slightly above cover and still hit them.

Anyway the difference betweeen the Javelin and the Krysae is the Javelin is useless thanks to the shieldgate, and the Krysae ignores the shieldgate.

So Krysae>>>>>>>>Javelin.

Ok, neat.

How does it compare to the BW and Widow? I've been going on the BW forums and all I'm getting are personal perfs... Not really helping.

:phone:
Right first thing first, Krysae is only to be used with Infiltrators. Are you using something that's not an Infiltrator? Don't use the Krysae.

2nd, a Krysae needs some sort of debuffing help against bosses, with a Proxy Mine or Tac Scan it's pretty easy because they're automatic debuffs. You'll hear that Krysae's aren't that good against bosses but seeing as though all bosses can't be headshotted, and the Krysae ignores the shieldgate (unlike the BW and Widow) I'd say it's nowhere near as bad as people think compared to other snipers, in fact I'd say it's actually quite good against bosses. Heck it just ***** Phantoms silly and makes even Primes flinch.

The BW is the second best sniper, but the Krysae beats it because of its explosive radius. With a properly specced Geth Infiltrator you can take out a Pyro in 2 shots after a Proxy Mine and a Rocket Trooper after 1 shot, with the explosive radius you can get multikills if many of them are standing close together, and the Krysae will cause any enemies it doesn't kill to stumble or flinch. Also you don't have to aim as much with a Krysae, you can aim near an enemy and it'll still hit them, so if they're trying to hide in cover just shoot slightly above it and you'll knock them out of cover.

Also new stuff yay!

After all my credits I saved up I got the Engineer, Vanguard and Infiltrator and all the new weapons to level 10 instantly (Edit: turns out the new AR is Ultra-Rare, I never even got that gone oops).

Engineer is the only one I've played as so far, her Pylon restocks ammo constantly and it restocks 2 grenades every 15 seconds or so, plus with a Grenade Capacity 3 I spawn with 11 grenades. Plus the Pylon will also increase maximum shields by 25%. It's amazing.

Platinum difficulty is F****** INSANE!! Made it to wave 9 with a bunch of randoms on my first try. I'm quite proud of myself, and none of my teammates sucked.

So freaking intense...

Holy crap. I WANT that Class like...NOW. That sounds like it clears out entire ROOMS in seconds.

And to those that haven't seen anything/trailer wise, here ya go.

Yeah it's like the Rebellion DLC.

Right so played my first Platinum with my friend Liam (who hasn't played this game since before the Resurgence DLC) a guy I know that's good on my friends list called Fang, and a random.

So it was Cerberus (not that that makes much difference) on Glacier, Liam and the random were Cerberus Vanguards, I was a Krogan Vanguard and Fang was a MQI with a Harrier specced for duration.

Completed wave 10 objective, our objectives were hack the 4 pylons, deliver the packages and 4 pylons again. 130k you get for doing it, and my god was it fun.
