"We noticed Cerberus was the easiest of the three, so we're going to make some changes".

This week's balance changes will be delayed. We're working to get them out as soon as possible but they won't be showing up today.
Among other things, this week we're looking at bumping up the difficulty of Cerberus a little since our data shows that they are by far the easiest faction on all difficulty levels and have been for quite some time. The Geth and Reapers, on the other hand, are neck and neck for difficulty.
cerberus was too easy, literally, phantoms are the only reason they are a challenge (i still think they need a slight nerf since they do everything cerberus does but better)
but seriously, buff turrets? why? we all hate them enough already
The Phantom should be able to throw her sword and impale you from a distance, granting her an insta-kill.
The Nemesis should be able to score headshots, granting her an insta-kill.
If you destroy a Cerberus Turret with anything other than a heavy melee it splits into 3 more turrets.
Geth Troops throw Arc Grenades.
Geth Hunters can grab insta-kill you from the opposite side of cover.
On a different note, the Extended Cut soundtrack has been released as a free download by Bioware, enjoy:

(Sentinel) N7 Paladin: Snap Freeze, Incinerate, Energy Drain, has an Omni-Shield.

Destroyer: "The Destroyer's T5-V Battlesuit gives these strong-but-slow soldiers mech-like protection. Driven by eezo-assisted actuators, these frontline troopers carry heavy weapons onto the battlefield."
Demolisher: "The Demolisher uses grenades to attack at range and to terrorize the battlefield. Demolishers can also create a supply pylon that stocks allies with an unending reserve of grenades and thermal reloads."
Paladin: "The Paladin carries a powerful omni-shield onto the battlefield to block enemy fire. The Paladin also uses the shield as a heavy-melee weapon that, when modified with incindiery or cryo upgrades, creates a devastating combination attack."
Shadow: "Shadow infiltrators use implants to dramatically improve agility, making them slippery combatants on the battlefield. Their monomolecular blades are a menace from cover and close range."
Slayer: "Slayers use implants to dramatically improve mobility. Their dizzying sword attacks can hit multiple opponents, and the Slayer's ability to slip fire makes them hard to pin down on the battielfield."
Shadow and Slayer both have 'Martial Arts' listed in their descriptions.
I LOVE the Batarian and Krogan buffs. Krogan RAGE is even more insane. Bust out that murder train! And the Batarian Heavy Melee damage pretty much getting DOUBLED?
I'm pleasantly impressed with the new Human classes, they're a lot better than I was expecting. The Demolisher looks cool since you've pretty much got a Grenade-based class that can replenish itself on command. But holy crap at getting to pretty much play as a Phantom, and a Kai Leng type Vanguard. I'm just so hype over that. Time to save up soon.
Platinum mode? Yeahh....Now I see why all those Barrier buffs, but still. Is Platinum mode going to be like ONLY Banshees for Reapers and ONLY Phantoms/Atlas's for Cerberus?
Anyway you can complete Gold against Cerberus in 13 mins, the problem is it's far too complicated for randoms (stand in this area at start of every wave, follow this path in a circle for the rest of the wave slaughtering everything as soon as they spawn, rinse and repeat) so it's nigh impossible to do it without 4 people with mics. Heck if 2 people hold Reegars and we have at least a QMI or GI on the team you can be whoever you want, you don't have to stick the the list of "approved" classes like FBWGG.
I'm astounded by the stupidity of people. If you're rank N71050, your teammates are dead and you have 3 med-kits, you need to get the escort objective literally 5 steps because your teammates took it there and there's one of your teammates shouting "You can turn invisible you can turn invisible you can turn invisible", why the hell don't you turn invisible?!?

Yeah, I hate stuff like that, and I really have no idea. Like, I guess some people with mics just don't have their headsets on, and some people mute their TVs when playing but...that seems kinda dumb. I remember I didn't start playing Multiplayer until the 2nd half of my single player run and even then I most did Bronze and a bit of Silver because I was just in it for the Galactic Readiness whatever thing. But with that being said, I always figured people playing it would have gotten at least somewhat far or even beaten the single player by now and had a sense of well, common sense. Like, if we're in Firebase Goddess (which I believe is even better for doing Gold than Firebase White because of the Ammo Crate right in the room that you'd be holding out in), and it's wave 9 on Gold, and you run to the other end of the level just to melee a Rocket Trooper and get swarmed by 6 Pyros, that screws us because we either have to panic and come get you, or lose that 4th meat shield/bit of firepower.
3 new maps, 12 new mods, 11 new gears (or equipment in general?) and a new objective, along with all the other stuff I posted:
· Three New Maps – With the fate of the galaxy at stake, Earth’s military efforts have concentrated on three strategic locations. Defend Firebase Rio, home to the N7 training facility, along with Firebase Vancouver and Firebase London in the last stand for mankind.
· New Array of Playable N7 Characters – Step into the boots of the Alliance’s most elite military units with the N7 Demolisher Engineer, N7 Destroyer Soldier, N7 Fury Adept, N7 Sentinel Paladin, N7 Shadow Infiltrator and N7 Slayer Vanguard.
· New Powerful and Unique Weapons – Lay waste to the enemy by unlocking the N7 Piranha Shotgun, N7 Typhoon Assault Rifle and Acolyte Pistol.
· New Powerful Upgrades – Outfit your weapons with 12 new modifications and fortify your gear with 11 unique upgrades to defeat even the toughest foes.
· New “Platinum” Difficulty – Conquer bronze in your sleep? Take down Silver with one hand? Beat Gold without breaking a sweat? Then grab your friends and test your skills on the brand-new Platinum difficulty.
New In-Mission Objective – Randomly occurring during waves 3, 6 and 10, this new objective will challenge teams to keep a targeted agent alive by protecting and escorting them to a designated extraction zone on each map.
All my sources seem to be leading me in circles for the objective source, though I do have this for this weapon mods:
Assault Rifle Omni-Blade - Increase melee damage
Assault Rifle High-Velocity Barrel - Allow bullets to pierce objects but at reduced damage. Ignores[X]% of an armored target's defenses. Increase weapon weight.
Sniper Rifle High-Velocity Barrel - Allow bullets to pierce objects but at reduced damage. Ignores[X]% of an armored target's defenses. Increase weapon weight.
Shotgun Omni Blade - Increase melee damage, increase weight
Shotgun High-Velocity Barrel - Allow bullets to pierce objects but at reduced damage. Ignores[X]% of an armored target's defenses. Increase weapon weight.
Pistol Cranial Trauma System - Increase headshot damage
Pistol Heavy Barrel - Increase damage, increase weight
Ultralight Pistol Materials - Reduce weight
SMG High-Velocity Barrel - Allow bullets to pierce objects but at reduced damage. Ignores[X]% of an armored target's defenses.
You read that wrong, it allows it to pierce objects but with reduced damage through the object, not allow it to pierce objects and reduce damage in general. It's a misleading description but it's the same one that's on the current AP mod.
a huge portion of ME3 is pointless. We spend so much time fighting Cerberus and disagreeing with TIM just to find out that he was equally correct as 2 other options. It'd be nice if we could've worked with Cerberus or something, but instead, we get hindered by all the sabotage.

Technically a lot of media series do this. You'll be hard pushed to find one where everything but the start and end wasn't "filler" in a sense.
Look at your favourite trilogy or tv series with a story arc and you'll notice this. Shows that create arcs season by season will probably be (almost) immune to this though as they're all filler technically.
So, I FINALLY got a Batarian (the Soldier variant), and...I think I messed up evolving the shotgun blades thing when I did Cone Spread instead of Damage at rank (I think) 4. At least I went with Explosive Blades at 6 which I think is what you're supposed to do. It IS what you're supposed to do, right?

Well you could, you're a Soldier you can use anything, it's just that the Krysae sucks with anything but Infiltrators and the rest of the snipers aren't crowd control weapons so if you're looking to max out your crowd controlling ability a sniper wouldn't be the best. But again, you're a Soldier, you can choose whatever weapons you want.
ODIN, do you think I should change my Kroguard to be boosted for defense over power now? I have a Reegar 10 and it just eats shields on EVERYTHING in about 2 seconds, and while I haven't gone down on Cerberus gold (unless I get instakilled) in about 3 games there's times when I'm cutting it close because the Reegar stuggles with armour (so Turrets can threaten me).
So, do you think I should take that extra 20% protection for less power? Or just slap an AP consumable on my Reegar?

I'll be honest; It's been a good month or longer since I've played at a "pro" level.
Too much has changed for me to offer a real opinion.
With the new addition of Platinum, I'm going to be looking at the Murdertrain again in a new light, for extended survivability, but I can't say yes or no yet.
Is anybody going to be online doing the operation? Because playing gold with randoms is impossible lately, I'm thinking its because gold is now overflowing with less experienced players because of the operation.
Anyways my gamertag is the same as my username on Smashboards : Master Xanthan
