Yeah, I heard about that. Seems surprisingly easy if you just go through and play a bunch of Silver matches. Also, there's a link to some apparently new DLC that includes maps on Earth and SIX new Human Characters that were called....*checks* Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury and I think another pistol, shotty, and smg.

I think you missed the most important detail, its supposed to come with the extended cut ending.

I thought the article said that the Extended Cut thing was separate?
No, I'm saying that the article mentioned the extended cut ending, which IMO, is much more important than another multiplayer dlc. From what I've heard, the extended cut ending might come with the multiplayer dlc, basically bundled together.

Ohhh, I missed that. Cool. Though, I'll admittedly always wish we could like, go take Omega back with Aria and have her as like a temporary squaddie. :(

Welcome to three months ago, I just finished the game.

What the holy hell kind of ending was that? I thought the ending of HL2 was a bit of a jerk move by Valve, but they at least had the Episodes planned to continue. This? This is just....ugh.

The choices I thought was rather well done. I hadn't expected that I'd die with the 'kill the reapers' option, but whatever. Actually, before I even get to that, mega complaints about the mission leading up to it. In ME2 you had the entire team, splitting them off, giving them tasks to do and you really felt like a great big family of soldiers. ME3? Nothing. Really? The entire rest of my team, 5 or so other bad-***** of the universe are just going to sit back and watch? More specifically, leave the earth and return to the Normandy, just to sit around? What the hell team?

The Catalyst being the kid seemed a bit (okay, a lot) cheesy. But okay, whatever. I assume he's a kid because of Shepards dreams about the kid dying back at the start. Would have been nice if it had said so, rather than me just assuming that an omnipotent being isn't really a 6 year old, or a gnome.

Next part of the ending: Other than dying from blowing the thing up, why wasn't it mentioned that the ME relays would also be destroyed if Shepard took control of the reapers? Just seems random.

Another gripe: Okay, my team wussed out and ran back to the ship with out me around. Fine. Why are they randomly in a ME Jump? Were they actually running away from Earth when it went off? And okay, they're on random planet X. And? Did anyone else other than Tali and Ashley survive? (Making an assumption that it just shows 2 love interests) Actually, was the rest of the team even there? Did Joker just decide to start a harem with what time he had left? Speaking of random people, what was with flashing back to Anderson, Joke, and then Liara? How come just those three?

And those two at the end. Are they on random planet X? Why does the old guy sound like the illusive man? Just a shared VA? (Side note: god damn, he sounded creepy. "One day, my sweet")

Ugh. Just...didn't think it'd be as bad as it was, just assumed it was 'teh fanb0yz'

If only.

Been away at a festival, just got back.

There's not been that much complaints about that part of the game. Generally people are screeching all their hate into the Catalyst and the Normandy scene.

Next part of the ending: Other than dying from blowing the thing up, why wasn't it mentioned that the ME relays would also be destroyed if Shepard took control of the reapers? Just seems random.
It was. Also Shepard can survive if you pick the destroy option.

Another gripe: Okay, my team wussed out and ran back to the ship with out me around. Fine. Why are they randomly in a ME Jump? Were they actually running away from Earth when it went off? The people who exit the Normandy are the two people you have the highest relationship score with, so it could be anyone that's on the ship including Traynor and Cortez.

And those two at the end. Are they on random planet X? Why does the old guy sound like the illusive man? Just a shared VA? (Side note: god damn, he sounded creepy. "One day, my sweet")
The Illusive Man is voiced by Martin Sheen, Stargazer is voiced by Buzz Aldrin.

Just throwing some of these out there, but...

- Your other teammates are actually fighting on Earth somewhere else during the time where you and your squaddies are running around, along with your ME2 Survivors, I believe.

- The relays don't get destroyed if you pick "Control", just damaged. Mind you, The Reapers still take the Citadel and screw up everything for future cycles.

- If your Galactic Readiness and total Military Strength is high enough, then technically Shepard doesn't die in "Destroy". He actually wakes up somewhere that looks remarkably close to London.

- The kid thing is "hmm?" but it's something a lot of people supporting the Indoctrination Theory use to help support it.

- Also, yeah there's an "Extended Cut DLC" that expands on the ending and stuff coming this summer so keep an eye out for that.

Uh, but if Shepard controls the reapers, how's that going to screw things up? (Not counting the fact the reapers really messed it up before we even got there)

It's typically accepted that "Control" is always a Reaper trap of sorts, by both supporters and deterrents of the IT. This is often supported by the fact that "Destroy" is what Anderson would do, "Synthesis" is what Saren would do, and "Control" is what TIM would do. And well, since Saren and TIM were indoctrinated...

If you want Shepard to live, you need 4000+ EMS (Effective Military Strength) and you MUST pick the Destroy ending. Make sure you scan as many planets as possible and do as many side missions as possible. Also remember the galactic readiness rating. If your galactic readiness is low then you'll need to play some multiplayer matches to make it higher. I know that being forced to play multiplayer sucks but that's the only way to raise galactic readiness besides the Ipad game.

No it's not, that's the IT version of the end.

The actual game verson of the end is
Shepard controls the Reapers and will most likely rebuild/leave, though as with all power there's a chance it'll corrupt.

I officially hit that wall recently with Multiplayer that I was afraid I'd hit. I got a few new weapons and characters etc....but suddenly a few days ago I turned the game off....and it's been 3 days since...the need to play Multiplayer is gone. Never thought I'd say this in my life but....I hope they add something else to it aside from retrieve. PvP would be impossible unless they made it arena style with like 25 players in a room lol.

Still...11 waves and out over and over and over.....

Speaking of the Multiplayer, I opened my Victory Pack from Operation Mastiff and I finally got a Valiant, which is awesome. Also, I got a Vorcha Soldier. Cries of "KILL YOUUUUUU!!!" shall now ring out across the Multiplayer Maps. Though...anybody have any advice on a build for one? I'd imagine you want to kind of forego Carnage for points towards Bloodlust and Flamer, and make Flamer have a longer reach, but I'm not sure whether to put the points in Bloodlust towards Weapon or Melee.

I got a Hurricane III and an ex-Cerberus Adept (a character I didn't have before) from my victory pack. I love the new victory packs, hopefully this will be a permanent change. I can't wait to see what I get in my commendation pack.

Hunter mode nerf. So freaking stupid. I liked my GI Claymore build too. If they ever nerf the Kroguard, I'll probably quit multiplayer.

Well ok they did do an insane buff to Shockwave, but apart from that their other buffs are nigh pointless. I really want a Geth Engineer but now I'm not too sure.

Why do they keep doing weird balance changes? Do they want people to have fun?

Its because of the crybabies on the Bioware Social Network forums. They cry for nerfs all day everyday.

It just seems that Bioware nerf things that are used. Say a new tactic is found, maybe from the Sabre, then after a few weeks it just seems like Bioware will nerf it because it's "too effective" in a co-op game.

Their buffs to the Geth are insane too, the Geth are actually challenging even on silver on any level other than FBW due to their stunlock.

Its funny, they buff enemy geth yet OUR geth get nerfed. LOL.

I also like how Chris Priestley trolls everybody on BSN. I guess we'll see how much he trolls when Bioware starts going downhill.

I like it how he trolled that "Official petition" thread and it had the complete opposite effect. Even I made a comment against his trolling.

Smash buff sounds nice.

Oh, also I pulled off the nice "Gavorn's Wrath" (or something like that) build I found for the Vorcha with the Reegar Shottie. Highly effective against Cerberus, KIND OF effective against Geth that aren't Rocket Troopers and hit/miss on Primes. Not sure on Reapers. However, just burning everything with Flamer is quite nice.

What does Priestley do anyway? Is he even a developer or just a forum mod? He seems like a ****, honestly.

I think he's a developer.

Anyway using the Cerberus Harrier I fail to see why they nerfed it the other week. It's powerful yeah, but it's also an ultra-rare weapon and has barely any ammo. I couldn't even make it effective with my Turian Soldier and had to resort to spamming Proxies by wave 4.

Bioware is gonna NERF ALL THE THINGS. Seriously, they are gonna nerf the whole multiplayer into the ground. Hopefully I can promote enough characters so that by the time the multiplayer is shut down, I'll have enough war assets to get the best ending even with only 50 percent galactic readiness (which I believe is the lowest you can get).

Rather annoyed that the Soldiers are so underpowered. Adrenaline Rush really should give the soldier a MASSIVE boost in weapon damage, I mean more so than the 70% it currently gives.

Also I managed to get my GI outscored by a Phoenix Adept of all things, I got 96k and he got 101k on FBW.

So speaking as someone that hasn't played ME3 yet (my face didn't import and it was way too jarring trying to accept the abomination of a new face after seeing the same face for five years) I'm just ducking in here to drop a post and ask if they released that extended ending DLC stuff. And also if there's any other planned DLC, I guess.

Also I got it spoiled for me on the BW forums on a non-spoiler section that
Shepard dies literally NO MATTER WHAT, which is just about the gayest goddamn thing
.

I'm surprised you haven't been able to import your face yet.

A lot of people have used Gibbed Save Editor to do it. I learned it from the BW forums and it was mentioned in this thread some way back.

As for that extended ending DLC, not yet. Really soon, though.
There's going to be new MP DLC, too, I guess, but as for SP, not sure.

I'm double posting its been HOURS dealwithit.

So the guy that nerfs things spoke about why they nerf things:

We prefer not to nerf weapons or abilities, but some strategies just become too dominant which hurts replayability. We want to make as many strategies as possible viable on all difficulty levels so the game stays fresh. The vast majority of balance changes have been attempts to bring up weaker strategies so they can compete with the stronger ones.

For that reason I don't agree that nerfing in a co-op game is not necessary.

So I just checked, apart from my Canifex (level 3), Krysae (level 2) and Reegar (level 1) all my gold weapons are level 8 or higher! Aww yeah.

Edit:

I now have everything else at level 10 apart from a level 9 Geth SMG! Somehow I never got one Canifex, Krysae or Reegar though.
