Grats on the new Quarian. I played a game last night where someone had tac scan, and it's pretty useful. If anything, it's like Hunter Mode for everyone else in your party (especially if you take area effect in rank 6). VERY useful for Gold.

So it turns out the EA servers have disconnected worldwide, luckily I was only on wave 4 when it kicked me.

Anyway I got that new sniper, and while I don't want it nerfed because Bioware don't know the difference between "nerf" and "make completely useless" I have to admit it is insanely powerful, I threw my Proxy mine at 3 Pyros and then shot 2 bullets and got a triple kill and it's only level 1. Against Primes it's pretty cruddy though, I had to rely on Xanthan and his insane GI Claymore combo. That combo is so good that it actually began to look like the Geth were scared of him.

We had none in fitness, it didn't seem to affect Xanthan much in fact he even said "I can't believe I'm holding this area off by myself" during one mission, when he was holding off Primes and Pyros.

You pretty much need another biotic for a Battlemaster to work.

On a different note that sniper is good but it doesn't mesh too well with the GI. In fact I'd say the widow is better for him.

People dislike Kroganguards who have no idea what they're doing.

They shine with another Biotic on the team, but by no means do you need one. I've taken top score on Gold several times, where there were no other Biotics helping.

I do this: 1 round Gold -> Buy SP -> Another round Gold -> SP -> Another Round Gold -> PSP...

Rinse and repeat. Also, If I lose a round, I buy a Jumbo Equipment Pack since I usually lose at or after the 2nd objective wave (which nets you ~30k)

Tbh, I've had more chances of getting better stuff from SP than PSP.

That's actually a better sounding one than 1 round Gold > nothing > 2nd Gold round > P Spectre Pack > 3rd Gold Round > 2nd PSP

Seemingly they've changed matchmaking so you'll now get into matches with people of similar, or near, rank.

So if your N7 rank is is the late hundreds or thousands you could be waiting for half an hour or more to find 3 people, whereas if you never saw the point in promoting more than once like me you'll find matches fairly quickly.

Xbox with rather high rank (1200+) here. This "matchmaking" is highly annoying. Tried to find a close to full lobby, but after 30 minutes of trying I just turned off the console. In that 30 minutes I just got thrown into lobbies which where hosted by someone else with a similar rank. These lobbies where just the host and me. Even after staying 5 minutes no one else joined.

So please Bioware, whatever you have done to the matchmaking or however you call it in a co-op game, undo it asap. Thank you.

I haven't waited for one hour yet but finding players is getting longer. I nearly spend more time in lobbies than playing.
Several players join the lobby and we they see only one other player they leave after several minutes if no one else joins.

I am N7 810, and my brother is N7 1100. Since the Rebellion DLC release, we are having a very difficult time filling lobbies for Gold. We ended up running several matches 3-man, because it wasn't worth waiting so long for a fourth.

Even switching the difficultly to silver *shudder* doesn't fill any faster, and when it does, all the N7 rankings are often higher than mine. This isn't good at all, I don't mind carrying - and I'd rather take N7 < 100 than have to wait this long when hosting.

At least let the host have a setting to turn this new feature off.

It took me over 40 minutes to fill a lobby that i had created today! My N7 is 1766 a few pkayers joined with similar N7's to mine but after waiting for about 5 they left! It wasn't until a friend of mine came online with N7 98. and even then we had to wait 10-15 minutes for a 3rd and 4th player and both of them were in the high 900's!

And so on and so forth.

i should definitely play this more, i got booted from a game with similar ranked people because i didn't revive them one time

seriously, they died and there were like 9438240392 enemies looking at me so i had to kill them first, unfortunately, they got stomped on but i did the right decision by taking out 15 of the enemies looking down that hallway

i hate ****ty players, i need to play to get to like 300 or something, or just join you guys and start doing gold runs cause i only lose silver when the other 3 squaddies are terrible, or i'm a vanguard (seriously, i suck at a vanguard)

N7 rank past 120 means absolutely nothing. The only reason I promoted was to get the achievement, so despite the fact I could've been in my thousands I'm only level 148.

they should just do it by PPG (points per game), cause my salarian engineer is like 60,000 a game on silver, i can't wait until i unlock the salarian infiltrator

No, it's just that if you max level all the classes, you'll get 120, since 6 classes * 20 levels = 120 N7.

Then promoting gives you +10.

I was 124 for the longest time, but I wanted to promote in order to respec and do that one weekend event.

Also, since your N7 rank increases with your overall total level of all the classes, if you get any Character Cards via packs, it'll add to that.

Well character cards don't do anything to your N7 rank if you don't promote, otherwise mine would be much higher, heck I have a Claymore and Widow 10, the amount of character cards I must've gotten would make me far higher than 148.

Anyway Mood people don't like seeing people below 120 as it means you have a high chance of not having guns and mods, where as once you get to level 120 it's impossible to tell how long you've been playing the game for.

No, you did the right thing. If I'm surrounded by baddies, I'll call out what I'm surrounded by, or even say "Don't bother, there's 2 Banshees and a Brute by me".

i went to do it and then i was like, oh hell no, **** that, then went murder train on all the enemies and finally got downed after taking out a large portion of them, the other guy left alive was the last to kick me after we failed to complete the mission

i also hate when people play this game without a mic, it's just as bad as playing a non TDM game in CoD, you need all the help you can get, i hate getting merked from behind after sniping the living **** out of cerberus
