It's not a retcon. If it turns out that the guy wasI'm going to be butthurt to the extreme. Talk about retcon, mang. Of course, if it turns outjust hiding out... for fifty-thousand years... not telling anyone his storyI could accept it, I guess. That's still a bit weird sincethat he was at Ilos in one of the cryopods and only just recently woke up. But better.Vigil's prime directive was to keep himself running and functional for as long as possible, which I would assume to mean that he wouldn't even risk lowering his power levels to what would cause glitches such as NOT KNOWING THERE ARE STILL PROTHEANS ALIVE IN THE FACILITY
I dunno, I believe in Bioware I guess, but I'm not crazy about it, nor theanthropomorphic EDI >_>
No, your teammates aren't, but Shepard is.Okay, I'm back with a brand new sparkling copy of ME2 and a 2800 MSP card!
My current plan is to now beat ME2, then input the code to get the extra character and DL and complete all of the DLC on my 2nd play though. (Which I will start immediately.)
Yay or nay?
EDIT: More questions...
When I start another play through, do my squad/teammates have the existing powers and are levelled up from my previous play through?
Shepard only saw the visions because of the 2 beacons. There were no beacons in ME2.I remember in ME1 Shep had those visions.
I don't remember them ever coming up again in ME2. Did we do something to make them disappear?
Got it, thanks.I'm not sure what the code is tied to, I think it's your profile.
Don't do Arrival (one of the DLC's) until after the Suicide Mission. Admiral Hackett will contact you early in the game but just ignore him and wait until after the SM before you do it.
Why? Because it makes more sense storywise to do it afterwards. It's not gamebreaking to do it before the SM, it just makes more sense to do it afterwards.
I would NEVER do that. The closest I've ever done on stuff like that was say something like the game dropping hints, which doesn't say anything at all. I swear I'm not trying to spoil ANYTHING for the guy. Even knowing he's going to do a second playthrough.Or don't. Really Livewire you're one step away from telling him where to put everyone during the SM.
Heard the Special edition DLC exclusive is pissing people off.
I haven't heard that at all. Also Hello Masamune. I haven't seen you around since.............forever?Heard the Special edition DLC exclusive is pissing people off.
It's with regards toI haven't heard that at all.
LOL. I won't lie...I'm glad...considering ya know I couldn't get the collectors edition.Well, it's called special Collector's Edition content for a reason, you know. I don't know why they're surprised.
I've been alright, I rarely post anymore, and when I do it's usually selective threads.I haven't heard that at all. Also Hello Masamune. I haven't seen you around since.............forever?
how you been? I was forced to give up my Seph sig if you didn't notice...
LOL. I won't lie...I'm glad...considering ya know I couldn't get the collectors edition.
It's with regards tothe fact that those that bought the standard edition have to pay $10 for the Prothean while those who have ordered the CE don't.
So I've been thinking about this, IMO it doesn't make any sense. I'm currently a level 22 vanguard and when I start another game, I'll still be level 22. You said that my teammates won't have the stuff/powers/points which I gave them during my 1st game? But then that means I'll only be able to give them 8 levels of points during my 2nd game. (Hope this makes sense.)No, your teammates aren't, but Shepard is.
Got it, thanks. Prolly gonna finish ME2 either today or tomorrow.Oh yeah you'll have to download some things from within the game, like Zaeed, rather than on the marketplace. The option will be on the main menu somewhere.
Your levels carry over. But I think they reset, so you can reassign them.So I've been thinking about this, IMO it doesn't make any sense. HELP!!!
I'm confused, when you said "your" you mean mine and my teammates?Your levels carry over. But I think they reset, so you can reassign them.
I'm 90% certain of this. I know in the first one you couldn't, but I thought they fixed this in 2.
Yes. Your levels. If you are level 22, your teammates are also level 22, and that will carry over in new game +.I'm confused, when you said "your" you mean mine and my teammates?
What?
Okay then, Pluvia mislead me then. I think? D:Yes. Your levels. If you are level 22, your teammates are also level 22, and that will carry over in new game +.
You should also be able to reassign new skill/squad/talent/whateveryouwannacallthem points.
So you aren't in smash anymore? Mass Effect Now? .I've been alright, I rarely post anymore, and when I do it's usually selective threads.
And sorry to hear that. But it's good to see an old face around.
I'm surprised that people are surprised, seeing as though we've known about him for almost a year, and by the looks of the leaksI think it's more that it's a PROTHEAN WHO IS ALIVE that is DLC AT LAUNCH AND NOT INCLUDED IN THE GAME AS PART OF THE MAIN STORY that is pissing people off.
This is news to me.I'm surprised that people are surprised, seeing as though we've known about him for almost a year, and by the looks of the leakshe's in everyones game, just not everyones squad unless you have the DLC.
Vague enough, thank you.Spoilers about how we came to that conclusion, but I tried to be a vague as possible:
There is a chance that he couldn't be mind you, but in the leaks he was pivotal in one scene that's mentioned the most out of every other scene and has huge repercussions in the game, assuming the final draft of it is the one they go with. It's just that during that scene he's not in your squad and you're tasked with protecting him, which has lead a lot of us to believe that he'll be in everyones game because of the importance of that scene, it's just that the DLC will give you the option of taking him on your squad.
Oh yeah, that.I think it's more that it's a PROTHEAN WHO IS ALIVE that is DLC AT LAUNCH AND NOT INCLUDED IN THE GAME AS PART OF THE MAIN STORY that is pissing people off.
Just a guess.
Also, we gotta play more Grey. We're a great frakkin' team.
Sweet. I'll be on.Oh yeah, that.
I don't have class today so I'm open for it tonight. I want to finish level maxing my Turian and then move on to my Drell Vanguard or Krogan Soldier.
