Curse you 360 owners. Side note, low-level Adept is weird. That, and a squad of 4 Engineers is strangely fun and awesome since you pretty much double your numbers from 4 to 8 with all the Drones/Turrets running around.

Does anyone know what "Decoy" does though?

I don't like to go into hypothetical scenarios much when it comes to shooters but I was wondering....does anyone think at some point they might patch in a PVP or Arena type setting in Mass Effect DLC down the road? If they do...what would that be like? I was talking about it with a friend and it's very interesting to think about so I figure I'd share it here. How will each class/race do against the others...etc.

They wont. The multiplayer is integrated into the single player campaign, and PvP is the one thing fans would be up in arms over.

Even I don't want PvP. I would be raging if it was in ME3.

And this is a single player game. The multiplayer in this is only acceptable because it affects the single player campaign but is also completely optional.

I was incredibly pissed about it until they said it was made by a different team in another city, and then I was surprised it was actually good when it came out, but PvP can go kiss my ***.

yea, but i think having like a TDM set up could actually work in this game

the multiplayer is surprisingly a lot of fun, i'm very pleased with it

it's teamwork but not a mandatory team work like Left4dead needed, you can go off and flank if you want to and you won't get killed easily

also, the new shockwave is pretty boss, those guardians are no match

pvp could work in this game, it's just balancing issues would be very time consuming, trying to balance out all the abilities and krogans might just not give a **** about anything, so it's better off if they just left it out, focus more time into other things

After thinking about it and playing MP more....they would be better off releasing an expansive multiplayer where you can use your shepard. a PvP would be so gay for some classes....

Okay so I went through the in-game store in ME2 and I'll need 2480 MSP to DL all 4 of the DLCs. I already have 450 so the next time I'm out I'll buy a new copy of ME2 and a 2400 ($30) MSP card. :bee:

Good thing I have enough space to have them all on my hard drive!

Sucks how they haven't done a GoTY edition yet...

there's no reason to if the game is making this much money, basically anyone who buys the game is going to buy the DLC, it's not like batman: AA where not many people bought the DLC so they threw in some of it as a bonus on the GoTY edition

i will say though, trying to survive all 5 waves for object roe is a pain in the *** on hardcore, as an adept

My Drell Vanguard Deadpool laughs at your shockwave. Pull is WAY more consistent.

I've been messing around with the Vanguard. The two options I have available are as follows:

Female Human

Drell (male)

Here's how the Human plays:

And how that applies to this (since I don't have a skill tree to really look at) demo:

Biotic charge all the things, follow it up with Nova. Nova takes your shields/barrier charge, and transfers that into damage. BOOM. Spec so that you have a chance of not having to cooldown on the Charge and not having to deplete your shields, and you're death dealing machine my friend. Points in Fitness to buff your health and shields/barrier. Go shotgun. Also, carry ONLY a shotgun for that AMAZING cooldown buff. +80% Powercooldown? DON'T MIND IF I DO!! Shockwave is useful to knock people out of cover, but unreliable for me on Guardians/Shield ****s.

Now the Drell Vanguard is a VERY character. First of all, you don't have Nova. You have grenades. WHICH ARE AWESOME. You can spec to carry more, and even throw more. Along with more damage and a larger blast radius (which I recommend taking).

Pull, even with one point in it, has more uses for multiple reasons. First off, it can YANK the shield off of the Guardians with ONE use. All the time. Provided you aimed and angled the 'shot' properly, no more shield. But that's the catch. Pull has this weird arc mechanic to it. But that's also what makes it fun. You can hook it around cover, over walls, so on and so forth. If you do the 'carry one weapon strategy for recharge', Pull is near instant recharge. I personally went AR. +130% power recharge. And now we get to where the Drell shines.

SPEED. And MELEE. The Drell not only gets a bonus to accuracy (15% I think), but he's faster than all other races, and his melee is amazing. You wanna be freakin' Thane from ME2? This is the closest you're gonna get. Now you see why I call him Deadpool. Fast, pseudo Teleport, guns, grenades, and not as bulky as I'd like. The melee for the Drell seems to be an AoE effect; as long as it's not a 'heavy melee', he'll do a sweeping kick animation that can combo into another set of kicks (two button presses). So placing points on the Drell into melee is a great idea.

Oh, and his Heavy Melee is a Falcon Punch.

So, Drell Vanguard is Deadpool with Biotic Charge--->Melee C-C-C-C-Combo breaker!!!

And there you have it. My fun times with the MP demo.

Oh, and the Salarian Infiltrator is kinda cool, too.

List of the races, what they do and don't.

Am I the only one surprised that Drell isn't under Infiltrator? I hope he's there in the full game.

I'm surprised, but they couldn't have Salarians be Sentinels or Adepts because Salarian Biotics are kept off the battlefield in lore, so that left those 2 as being Drell classes. Hmm....I suspect that after the game's out, we'll probably see Batarians and Geth as DLC characters for it.

I'd rather be a Geth than Batarian.

:GASP!: Is that racism?

... What the space equivalent of racism?

Anyway, the Batarians are jerks.

So I've only played a few MP matches, and it seems pretty fun. I don't have much MP experience to begin with in general, but it reminds me of Uncharted 3's coop. It's not something that's gonna convince me to buy the game full price though.

I have a question. Did any Canadians on here pre-order Mass Effect 3 from Amazon.ca? I'm asking because for some reason my ME3 order details show the delivery estimate (which I guess is the received date) to be March 14th-16th, even though I used Express shipping which should be like...2-3 business days. So I'm wondering...anyone else have this problem, would it make they're not getting it/shipping it on day of release, or what?

I mean, my copy of KOFXIII shipped on the release date when it said it wouldn't ship until the 25th, but still, hype for this game's got me anxious.

Don't you have to go and change it to day of release? I know for Dark Souls, they took the option off a month prior to release and I found out around that time. Originally, I had it just set for "Prime" shipping given I had it for free.

Yeah...the thing is Amazon.ca doesn't HAVE release day shipping. I guess the plus side though is where Amazon.ca ships from is like...5-5 and a half hours from my house. :bee:
