Kewkky has seen me getting active in the past few days. Not really active, but active enough that he might not pass me before going into the Navy. And after that, who knows when he would have time? He might even die in his non-combat job. Hell, he already has a complex because he's too afraid to go into combat. Anyway, he had to gain the post lead before something terrible happened to him.

"Oh ****," he thought. "Lion, that sexy beast, is posting a lot. I need to post a lot too. But I can't just double post -- after all, I'm a mod. I can't throw away Gideon's rules, that sexy guy. Plus, I might get banned."

This got Kewkky thinking. "Well, I could make a bunch of posts in a row...there just have to be posts from another person in between them." (As an aside, I almost turned this into a fanfic where Kewkky goes back in time and create's JoWii's account with help from Future Trunks)

So he goes to his Inbox, which happens to be empty. "That's cool, it improves my loner look," Kewkky thought. "Plus, if anyone asks, I'll just say I emptied it recently. I don't need other people to care about me anyway. I'm the best guy there is, and damn, that's good enough for me."

But who would agree to the fiendish plot from two paragraphs ago? It'd have to be a really huge troll, and someone who posted regularly on the Kirby boards. That way, no one would suspect any abnormal activity. Who met that criteria? And then suddenly, he gets this inspirational stroke.

So he sends a private message to JoWii. "Hey, JoWii. I need to make a lot of posts so I can beat Lion in the post-count race. You can post a lot of all the ragelicious things you really think about the Kirby boards. It's okay, I'll make sure you don't get infracted. Win-win for both of us. Man, that guy turns me on."

"Yea, that's a great idea! I always hated that Lion anyway. No matter how much he says the contrary, I know his MU thread was way better than mine will ever be. ****, I'm a failure. I need to see that sexy Steak-Man taken down. Deal."

But you forgot one thing, Kewkky. If there's anything I care about more than becoming a mod (a side which I try not to let other people see, but sometimes surfaces around newly-appointed mods -- you may have noticed), it's my post count in this thread. So when I see that babe endangered, I don't just pass it off. If I don't have the post lead, and I'm not a mod, what am I? Nothing. So naturally, I have to use my considerable deductive skill to find the most likely series of events.

(I still haven't thrown out the DBZ-IRL cross-over theory)

I try to act case by case, but I do have some underlying principles I try to live by, even though the world at large usually ****s on me for doing so. That being said, I've come to accept that as the cost of my values, so it's all good.

So Project: M's demo is out. And I can't get the characters to work. I am very frustrated.

Has anyone downloaded it and tried it out? I really want to play it and judge what they've done up 'til now.

I'm sure they fixed him up a lot more since then - especially because I see they've changed his N-air to look like that of the N64 version. Personally I thought the first N-air they used was epic.

If I knew why I would've fixed it by now.

Everything works, but the characters are still Brawl's characters minus the airdodges, new shield data, and other miscellaneous things. They still have the same attacks, jump height, and other character-specific traits. I used a backup of my current hacked SD and installed Project M in there, then I used an empty SD with only Project M files. Still hasn't worked... I'll just sit down whenever I'm not busy and check out the files in case I need to rename something or some extractions went wrong.
