It sounds like your GCT codes are working (thus the shields, air dodges, and physics) but the character files themselves are not being recognized. What's usually the case when this happens is that the character files are in the wrong directory or are just named incorrectly.

Make sure your character files (any .pac and .pcs files) are in the following directory:
X:\Private\Wii\App\RSBE\pf\fighter\(Character Name)\FitCharacterName##.pcs
Where "X:\" is the root directory of your SD card and "FitCharacterName##.pcs" is the character file.

Oh, I guess one other problem it could be is the File Patch Code. Make sure that's being loaded when you run this through Gecko. (You can tell that the File Patch Code is working if you can see any hacked textures - if you can't get texture hacks to work, then this is probably the problem).

Don't worry t!mmy, I know how to mess around with hacks and stuff. I used BrawlBox (and hex editors) to edit some textures, make some music, and check out some nice texture-hacked stages before I run them on Brawl, so I know where everything goes.

Guess it might be the file patch code? But everything besides the character's PSAs work... Well I'll just check it out today.

Also, timing out Lucario when you're a stock ahead and he's at 0 is both gay and fun. I spent 6 minutes not attacking, and at the end he started running into Picto's Plant and spikes to rack damage on himself so his hits would actually do damage XD

Okay, P:M works for me now. Problem? The Wii reads the codes, but Brawl couldn't read SDHC's and I forgot. I had to empty out my normal SD card to make room for P:M so no more touhou arranges as songs or awesome textures for characters for now.

And I am now forced to learn how to use another Melee character because neither Samus, ICs or Kirby is in the demo (I also used Sheik but I stopped because Samus ended up being more fun for me). Too bad no other character is as fun for me.

But hey, it plays great!

Ganon is too simple for me, sadly. No technical stuff, the most you'll ever do is L-canceled fair walls. With Samus you had the ability to be good both close-ranged and long-ranged, and have an AT that would help you transition between the two easy (super wavedash)... And watch as your opponents fall helplessly into your sideBs/neutralBs when recovering offstage and have no jumps... And mindgame your opponent into utilting/uairing when approaching from above and punish them with a downB>dair... And having one of the best recoveries in the game.

I can't wait to use Samus and change into ZSS for the harder MUs! Freakin' Ganon, Marth and Sheik were so annoying in Melee, I can't wait to slap 'em around with ZSS when I notice my opponents are gonna use those characters.

If you want technical and awesome go Sonic then.
I love Ganon as a character + I suck at melee so Ganon is good for me to learn the game. Of course, I know that as much as I like it, I won't learn it because they released it a mere week before MVC3 >.<

That's what surprised me, everyone was saying stuff like "Project M is awesome!" and everyone was able to play it, except me, and I couldn't find any questions from anyone asking why P:M wasn't working, so I started looking in places besides the files and boom, found it quickly. I had Sonic Colors in that SD, man.

Just like SkylerSilver said, yes it's very good. Totally worth it.


And it feels so weird using non-Samus characters. But, much to fromundaman's pleasure, so far Ganon seems like the easiest for me to use... I wanna use Falco or Fox though (top tier *****), but I gotta get back into my non-Samus Melee gear.

It's Metal Gear Solid.

An amazing series. You have to play it starting from the third one though. The story does get complex but it's really good nonetheless, along with the gameplay.

Fantasy Star Universe was like 2 seconds of actual gameplay and like 30million hours of cut-scenes. I couldn't make it past 25% of the game cause the cut scenes were so annoying
