Worst stage? Probably something like... Norfair? Or Brinstar? Maybe wrong. There are a lot of good stages. It just depends on who you're playing really. More than likely some stage where there are really high and wide blast zones.

lol I did better than some Texans against my Kirby. =P
We didn't finish our MM but the two stocks of the 1st we played were even. Poncho trained me well.

Er..................so.................what's everyone's favorite pizza? I prefer Pepperoni with bacon, sausage and hamburger.

I like onion, bell peppers, mushrooms and jalapeños. My second choice is chorizo, jalapeño, beans and sun dried tomatoes.

Kirby has no bad stages imo. Kirby's worst stage is kinda MU oriented.
I like Ftilt better since it's a quick punish but I do like tripping w/ Dtilt.

Kirby's worst stage, huh? I'd say he doesn't have bad stages, but his worst stage to play on is probably either FD, or other camper-dominating stages. Remember that a "worst" stage can also just be his least good stage, if all stages are good for him, so FD is still a good stage for him since he can chase landings far easier!

Beter after utilt... I'd have to say ftilt. It's a GTFO move (fast with decent knockback) with some very good range, it can knock opponents away from you if you think they're gonna break out of one of your strings and hit you, or to space against characters like Snake or Marth, between other ranges opponents, thanks to the range it has. But once again, just because there's a "worst tilt" doesn't make it a bad tilt! Dtilt has lots of uses mid-battle, and situations where it's better to dtilt than anything else!

Oh hi Today ^_^

I'd say F-tilt since it's a spacing move and it has good range and knockback. D-tilt is also a spacing/GTFO move but F-tilt is a better option. If you're against Falco, I'd personally say D-tilt since we'll be crouching a lot, but that's just my opinion.

Kirby's worst stage in my opinion would be FD. Lots of characters play better than us there especially Diddy, Snake and all other campers. Some characters who Kirby actually can do better against in FD would be Marth since he can't take advantage of the platforms like in BF since there is none.

Gotta say that kirby's worst stage has to be Lylat cruise, the platforms do to very little to him and the shifting of the stage really does affect kirby by a lot.

I like my pizza with a balance of veggies and meat. I absolutely detest fruits and fish on my pizza, but I love corn mushrooms lots of cheese ofcourse and chicken and beef on my pizzas. Pepperoni sucks imo, never really liked it on pizza.

It's heavily MU dependant. For campy characters, you want small, close-quarter stages and the inverse of that is true for characters with long reach, great aerial mobility, etc.

UTilt then FTilt then DTilt.

I'd do pretty much nothing for a Klondike bar but I'd do a lot to play some Brawl :D. I prolly am not going to any tournaments this summer because I need to save money but that may change. Any Kirby mains going to be @ or host a big tournament (more than or equal to 64 entrants) this summer? If so I'll set aside some $ and maybe make a trip with Hylian wherever it is. WHY ARE TOURNAMENTS NOT DURING THE WEEKDAYS!??

Off topic: I was just playing this guy on a chess server (neeerrrd) and offered up a sacrifice (it's a trap!). He didn't fall for it for the first few moves, and then was like "bleh" and took it because it looked like my threat had been neutralized. Skip ahead a few moves and I have a mate in 1. It's his turn, so I say "I think I have mate in 1" and he's like "well **** you I think you suck" and I'm like "that makes a lot of sense" and he's like "offering up a silly sacrifice and hoping something comes of it, you must be good" and then I wanted to respond but he censored my messages xD . He resigned in a minute or two.

tl;dr : I played chess with this guy and he ragequit after falling into a trap.

Edit: Here's the move order, if anyone cares (I'm black). 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 Nf6 4. O-O Ng4 5. h3 h5 6. Re1 (the idea being that, if 6. hxg4 hxg4, I play Qh4 and he's in a crapton of trouble) 6. ...Bd6 7. d3 a6 8. Bxc6 bxc6 9. hxg4 hxg4 10. Nfd2 Qh4 11. Kf1 Bc5 12. g3 Qh2, 0-1. (He resigned)

Mate is forced after white's 10th move, I think 10. Ng5 would've prevented mate. Haven't really analyzed that, if it comes up in one of my games, I'll play on with my attack and see how far I get.

IMO, Kirby does really well against MK.... But it's probably just me and my own experiences. At Pound4, everyone I played was surprised at how good I was at the MK matchup, so it IS probably just me... BUT REMEMBER that if I could do it, it means Kirby has the tools, not that everyone else sucked!

I'd have to agree that kirby does fairly well in the meta matchup, at least compared to some of the high tier characters. you still have to be very careful and smart, but i don't mind the matchup that much.

I literally couldn't mash out in time over Wi-Fi, and when I did, I was already too low. Also, every time I mash, I hit start. o_O The best match by far was his Kirby vs. my Ganondorf.

As for who won, we shared wins. His Kirby was undefeated against all my secondaries, and only lost to my TL and my MK, and even then, the matches were close.

@ Both- Do you guys have Dojo where you guys live? How bout M2k? Tyrant? Ksizzle? Shadow? Another high caliber MK?

When I said my little short personal opinion summary it was predicated on the assumption that it was a top MK that Kirby gets ***** and a scrubby/moderate one that we can do well against. I'm not trying to put down either of you guys' skill level (I haven't played y'all but results back you up) but go up against M2K, Tyrant, Dojo, etc. and tell me that Kirby doesn't get *****.

@ the same time...when you get a LOT of MK practice you KNOW what MK CAN DO; even so, that doesn't mean you can counter it adequately enough to avoid a loss if the MK is a good player first, an MK second.

Hey, I just faced him. I think I lost once to him. He didn't take me seriously and just kept taunting after he KO'ed me. I got pretty annoyed. He doesn't know Kirby too well, from my point of view. He didn't use the Gonzo Combo and tried to Kirbycide me lots of times and failed everytime (which cost him his stock). I would face him again though. That is... if I didn't piss him off...

Fthrow->uair and then reverse utilt->bair->whatever you can or regrab->fthrow->fsmash, depending on weight. However, since those aren't even close to guaranteed, gonzo combo usually just refers to fthrow->uair.

Oh, so the Gonzo Combo basically starts out with and FThrow to Uair, and anything that you can string after that is extra?

Doing an FThrow -> Uair -> Grab -> Dthrow -> Utilt -> Bair would be one example of the Gonzo Combo?
