You cant test anything in training mode because there is no stale move negation, and lack of DI.No, it's an actual combo, no further testing needed, unless you meant on other characters.
I was curious to see if Fair to Fair combos at the right percent. It does, quite easily on DK at least. DK suffers the least amount of horizontal knockback so I chose him to test it on. From there I just tried to Dair. How did you come across to find this? lol
Fun find, but kinda useless cause that will never happen in a real match, but funny nonetheless.
Still interesting I guess. Ken combos could be DI'd out of in Melee too.Unfortunately the consecutive hits counter is known to be horribly inaccurate.
We found this to be the case when we were researching grab release follow ups and noted how nearly all of the follow-ups we had on GameWatch don't work (except fair of course lol).
It's too funny imo, but I just told my friend about it over MSN and he called me lame.I noticed you edited your siggy Hype....why
At least its still good.
They should perfect shield them if they hit the ground. Its no combo. And in the air it can be DIed out of.That's true as well, but I can usually get people into like 4+ Fairs. I'm making a combo video at the moment so we'll see how it turns out, maybe I'll try one of these. ;P
thats the meep combo not the ken combo, and he made it when brawl first came out long before ulol my Ken combo is better. And it works on all.
SH Fair>FF Fair> SH dair.
Yes ken combo always existed BUT.... the first fair has to trip the opponent But if it does trip, it's legit. >_< I have the better combo in a combo-non-existent game XD
O rly? Well then forgive my ignorance sir.thats the meep combo not the ken combo, and he made it when brawl first came out long before u
True. but i beleive horrible spacing will give you even more gloating rights because your opponent just got pwned with a combo that doesnt really exist. It's too funny imo, but I just told my friend about it over MSN and he called me lame.
@Darxmarth23: even if you in the right situation you have to purposely have horrible spacing. you have to hit them with the base of you sword so your close enough to follow up with the Dair.
Since the meteor smash is dependent on tipper, DI will mess wih the accuracy of this move. Also, the spacing of the first fair was abysmal. A human controlled DK would've either shielded, or tilted you.. . . but this is probably actually a combo, all considering. Like all combos, you can probably escape it with DI, and it only works at certain percents, but I'm relatively sure he's accurate in calling this a combo.
It's not reliable as a finisher though, I wouldn't depend on it.
