I feel like I'm almost to the point where I feel skilled enough to play with you guys. Sometimes I still do some really ******** things when I get off stage, but I'm slowly starting to figure things out.


Anyone want to make me a fancy black and white flier file to plaster around KU, JCCC, and UMKC?
I think I'm going to take a break from traveling for a good chunk of time to get us going locally.

I'm contemplating making a KU Organization in order to promote our scene. I would be upfront when registering it, saying that the purpose is to create a sort of "KU Smash Team" to travel to tournaments across the region. We'd use tournaments as fundraisers for either future local tournaments or to sponsor player travel.

The benefits would be:
- Use of the Union facilities for free
- Being able to advertise on campus
- Recruiting at a local level becomes much easier

Drawbacks:
- Getting approval requires 3 KU Students AND a faculty advisor
- Payouts would have to be monitored in terms of "paying for travel". Although, the way around that is that we don't list/host tournaments through the club, and we just simply cite the reason for forming the club would be to play Smash. At the events, we then advertise outside tournaments at club meetings.

Is anyone here a KU student that can help me do this?

for a single sided standard size black and white its 9 cents per, 59 for color. and then i get 10 perent off
so if we get 100, it would be around 8.10 before tax
