Ummm don't fall for the gimmicks Yoshi has.

Like after throws don't jump, because of egg toss. You can jump away after jabs so that their jab to grab strings don't work. Powershield eggs, and just zone really well.

Try to remember he doesn't really have too much that he can do OoS as well.

Yup, me too.

But Kadaj does this insta drop through a platform immediately after a plat cancel, which is a lot easier with c-stick. its really cool and useful

lol @ failing to platform cancel
for real you guys, its so easy
UR GARBZZZZ

(not only that, but cstick down gives you better mobility cuz u dont have to input down on the ctrlstick. I guess its only like worse if u wanna pc > smash cuz cstick down > down/up/forward is kinda awkward (still very possible, tho))

hey kadaj as a marth who definately knows a lot about this game would you mind reading over and making one of your highly educated posts in my pit/marth dubz thread? especially on what you think the best stages for this team would be overall as that is a very important aspect of any match up whether it's singles or doubles

Seeing how RandomMarthScrub is already banned, do you finally concede that he is, infact, Anaky?

Don't they have free computers all over Europeland? He could be anywhere, for all we know.

I suddenly feel like this thread has kinda devolved it's purpose a bit and could perhaps have its conversations moved back to the Gen thread / Q+A thread.

At least until Kadaj wins a national tournament / beats ally. Or something.
(Yeah be salty that I'd let Havok have his own topic :p)

Thoughts kadaj?

ya seriously. i would rather have just kadaj answer my question correctly as opposed to a bunch of other marths answer it incorrectly. and even if they do answer correct kadaj words stuff better and is smarter than than the majority of any other marth in here as far as character knowledge goes. closing this would just suck and benefit no1.

also kadaj did you see my question near the top of the page?

Maharba Marth/Pit can be a somewhat solid team. The problem that lies in the team is if the Pit player can't hold his own or pull his own weight against teams like double MK or one that has a character who excels in juggling and edge guarding. The reason for this is because Marth can't reliably save in a lot of different team situations. But if pit can hold his own, provide constant arrow pressure, follow up from Marth's attacks, and keep himself out of danger then this team can be pretty good. I use to team with my good friend Pitzer here and there and know a bit about the team

It seems that having lots of knowledge about the game doesn't necessarily make you a better player. People that are naturally talented at smash somehow just "play" Smash without analyzing it and yet do much better than other people. What is your opinion on the matter? Surely having lots of smash knowledge can help you, but if you don't know how to apply it, is it any good? I'm not referring to anyone in particular, just curious as a whole.

There is also another debate of being naturally talented or working hard in order to become good. Obviously being talented and working hard would get you further in smash, but do you think stuff that applies to life can apply to smash? Do you think that an individual that works hard can beat a naturally talented person? It seems that you would need just a little bit of talent in order to succeed, but many people may simply have the heart and persistance needed to succeed.

No such thing as natural talent. Only cause and effect.
