I'm just curious, are there certain T.V's that lag? I recall that last time I went and I was totally thrown off my game. I got the laggy t.v twice in tourney qq. Although I would of still lost, it was pretty awkward for me to play on.

Please put signs saying that if the SD card is removed, the Wii will freeze. I do not play with texture hacks in serious matches, as they distract me and, in a recent tournament, cause me to think that I am on a certain part of the stage, but end up SDing.

In other words, I will remove SD cards.

So I can't make it today.. Family issues at home suddenly came up. I doubt my friend will either since he hasn't been there before and I think he was having trouble finding the time today regardless because of plans with his g/f lol :/

I think it was the best decision I could make.

It was absolutely the right decision. This tournament bombed. I want to apologize to the new players who came towards the beginning for the awful tournament conditions. There was a misunderstanding with the staff that resulted in us being blatantly shafted, and it kind of made for a miserable first experience. I know at least two people left after about an hour because of it.

Shoutouts to Josune for being the only reason I don't just stop hosting tournaments at Stronghold entirely.

P.S. - It's looking like Oct. 27 is the most likely date for the next event.

turns out there was a giant pokemon tcg tournament today, and they took up literally the whole venue

we had about 100ft² to play in for the majority of the day lol

i didn't think it was that bad tbh
