I made a (drinking) Pokemon board game and it requires playing pieces. I refuse to have paper playing pieces... but i might just have to ;-;

Went to Crystal during my break. There are none of the figurines you are looking far... strangely the store kinda converted into a (mostly) card game store. Probably need to try Richmond.

Nope, I could probably show up for doubles though. My birthday party starts at 6:45.
Metro has four stores. One by Silver City and two by The Bay (bottom floor). None of them have figurines. The store by Zellers (top floor) is mostly plushies. They have a cute Diddy plushie.

There used to be this second hand toy shop near my house with thousands of toys, even ****ty mcdonalds toys. I'm like 100% positive they would have had what I was looking for if they were still around ;-;

yeah this is probably your best bet, they have a lot of the toys although not sure if they have first gen pokemon.. most likely pikachu though. I could check sometime tomorrow since I live across the street from it lol

You would've been DQed in Japan like, 10 times over.
Being here as long as you can on Sunday should definitely be your priority. I wouldn't recommend coming on Saturday because there will be a Magic event, so there won't be space for smash, and if there is, it'll probably be Melee.
I'll be showing up at Stronghold at around 11am on Sunday. Meet me there and bring set-ups! This goes for everybody!

I'm predicting that Quebec's gonna go super bankrupt very soon. They should just separate from us... like they find the Canadian flag repulsive and removed it from their halls like the red room. They're making the rest of the country poor with their stupid policies. Lol at the students complaining about a tuition hike which is still the cheapest in the country...

IF I DO END UP GOING:
I may be able to arrive on Saturday night. However, I'll be taking the 9pm ferry, and considering the busses and when I leave work, I may not make that even (last ferry to leave).
If I do end up being able to come down on Saturday, I will be arriving in Vancouver around 11pm, meaning depending on where I go, I will arrive anywhere between 12 midnight and 1-1:30am (depending on how far away you are).
If this ends up being a possibility, would someone be able to house me that night?
Also, if I do end up going, whether or not I arrive on Saturday or Sunday, I have Monday and Tuesday off. Will someone be willing to house me, and maybe have a smash fest or do something on those days? I know it's not conventional to do stuff on Monday and Tuesday, but seeing as I'm already down here, essentially arriving on Sunday (either at midnight or at the venue at noon), I'd like to do more than just show up, go to the venue for 8 hours, and leave. (in other words, I'm there, I've got days off, might as well make the most of them).
It doesn't have to be the same person who houses me on all the days.
