As expected mI found a Pikachu on my adventure today. There was this one vending machine in the arcade place @ metrotown that dispensed the perfect sized plastic figurines of some gen 1 pokemon. I bought 7 and luckily the 7th one was pikachu but the then the machine broke and the worker there couldn't do anything about it ;-;

I dunno if there was even charmander squirtle or bulbasaur in there though.

I got eevee, flareon, growlith, clefairy, pikachu, celebi and raikou before i broke the machine... Didn't even get a damned water pokemon ;-;

I checked out the gaphapon place at Aberdeen and saw nothing first gen-wise other than pikachu there, even asked the workers and they said they didn't have anything. Forgot to check all the machines but kinda doubt it lol

So it turns out that I can't take Sunday off at all. Oh well.

Everyone who is in the current attendance list is required to make the next tournament. No exceptions.

Also, I will, if possible, not be taking days off work to make tournaments. And I cannot make Sundays at all. I can make a tournament on Sept 29, Oct 13, Oct 27, and every 2 week interval after that. If a tournament is planned on an alternate weekend, or on a Sunday, I will not attend, and will not try to take the days off.

the only reason you beat my Pika with ICs is because it's a really skewed matchup, without that you're nothing. Besides, we go pretty close to even when we're playing an even matchup (IC ditto) and that's a character I don't even play.

Also, possible change of changing change plans. Very slight chance, but I may be able to get Sunday off. So far, nobody has said (back when I asked for who could house me) that they could house me from the Sunday night to Monday morning night, which I will need if I come down. If I can't get housing for that night, I won't be coming.

I'm estimating my chances of coming are (joking/trollingly, and accurately) about 9%.

Basically, since I'm working at a hospital, if I'm not feeling good, they don't want me working there, and I don't want to take the risk either. However, if I'm feeling fine, or feeling too sick to come down, then I won't go. Otherwise, if I'm just not well enough for work but fine for other stuff, I may come down.

If I do come down, it will be Sunday morning (9am ferry). I will stay here, and if I do not feel well, I will call in sick in the morning and tell them I won't be able to go.

On the off chance I am able to come down on the weekend, is anyone able to house me on the night beginning Sunday and ending Monday (i.e. the night after the tournament)?

Oh right. Time for another rant. It's totally unacceptable to ignore new players. Yesterday, aside from one troll game, I was the only Brawl player who played with AA yesterday. Remember in all aspects in life, it's not always about you. Trolling is okay very occasionally and it is NEVER something to gloat about - it's embarrassing. Disrespect came in abundance yesterday.

Yes, everybody who can bring a Wii should! I want to have at least 5 Wiis so we have enough set-ups for friendlies in addition to tournament matches. Bring lots, and bring them early! I will be there a bit before 11am, so if you want to get some early friendlies, meet me there. =]

P.S. - If removing your SD card freezes your Wii, you should attach a note to it warning that the Wii will freeze. Otherwise, it WILL happen. =p
