You highlight the wrong part.

"that hasn't gotten to prove himself much yet"

Not proven himself yet, you say? ;)

I only mentioned the first two sentences of his description of Hack.

Here's the full one.

Hack: Hack is a rising star from Sweden that hasn't gotten to prove himself much yet, similar to Calle W. At BEAST 1 however, Hack placed 5th with his Peach, Marth and more notably, his Kirby, defeating Pamaro and nearly defeating Ice, which has not really been seen at all in Smash history. Granted, Kirby is a lot better in the PAL version, but Kirby is still considered a terrible character and the victories are all because of Hack's abilities. Will his Kirby make another appearance or will he stick to his high tiers? And will we get to see another high placing from Hack?

Call me weird but I kinda also think that player needs to be tested on USA ground for a better accuracy as how good they really are. True, Ice and Hack are good, but how good really depends imo how good they do in USA. And that is for now only, don't know how the situation in the future goes, but atm the overall skill level of USA tournament is so much bigger than in EU. And I'm from EU btw.

If anything, he's an underrated player.
Its not difficult to see why people like him so much, but i also think he's slightly overrated.
i think it's fallacious to label a player as being overrated or underrated most of the time

because most of the time, the player is improperly evaluated both ways (over and under) in a significant magnitude by considerably large populaces of people

this same variance in appraisal also applies to characters. especially falco, falcon, and marth

Who is this "CJ" from Japan :O? I've never heard of him (mainly because I just watch U.S.A smash)

We should have USA vs "The World" with only low-tiers >:D that would be awesome.
Settle this **** once and for all.
or USA vs "The World" with nothing but dittoes (until the end)

Captain Jack is a legendary Sheik/DK/Doc (mostly sheik in his prime where he dominated the Japanese scene b/w. 04-06 or 07') He's had many epic matches with Ken and Isai. He's also Amsah's sheik inspiration/what motivated Amsah to be as beastly as he's become over the years, and was Amsah's rival when he started out).

For the crew I'm thinking..

Armada (Peach)
Amsah (Sheik)
Leffen (Falco)
KirbyKaze (Sheik
Unknown (Fox)
Ice or I.B.(Marth)
Javi (Fox)
Tuga (Falco)

I would put myself instead of Tuga, but it seems unlikely I can go due to passport troubles... =(
Javi seems like a really unique fox and I think would give USA some trouble.. Same with Tuga.. Of course see how they play in person before deciding.. Ice or I.B. because both are really good players.. Maybe Ice is better maybe I.B. is better.. I haven't played Ice before so I'm biased... I dunno if CJ is still as good as he used to be, but he should be considered as well.

For alternates I'm thinking...

Kage
Eddiy Mexico

Having some different variety of characters like Ganon and Luigi would be a good mix up to the list we have now.

I think IVP is a really smart player, and he seems to give Armada a fair challenge (considering the fact that he's Armada). Anyone think he might be viable as an alternate, at least?

Unknown, Raynex and Javi would fare better I'd imagine. IVP would be great if USA uses Vanz though.

Edit: also lol, I just read those posts above. I do my best. XD

Shroudedone must have inside information that not even the other swedes know about.

Seriously though, IVP would've definitely been a viable alternative if he was going.

IVP is not coming lmao.

Oh and throwing in unexperienced spacies [Javi, tuga] is a stupid and fatal mistake imho. Way to easy to counter with M2K +FD, wobbles, Axe

A bit like how people randomly summon Calle W's presence at every single american international.
