Using just $1M as a template:

Deposit $500,000 into a savings account. This will be used for bills, and rent mostly. I still plan on working, and retiring at a ripe old age.

Buy one of the new dual-core phones coming out. $500
Buy a new laptop. $1250~$1500
Build a new PC. $1300~$4300 depending on if I spend money on a 2x2GB card or not.
Buy nice bose headphones with android phone buttons $150
