I would not advise to shield grab against any character with the current metagame.. everyone knows how to space it or counter it. The only way to get a shield grab is if you know on reaction they failed to space or L cancel on your shield.

Well.. everyone I meant at least the top players, there's obviously ways to shield grab. But I don't attempt to do it, it's too risky and one fail = combo which is bad. I saw you guys get punished for it a lot which is why I say it.

Ya I agree the Canadians I play against, I can never shield grab them which is why I never do it.. theyll just space moves. lol.

it feels IMPOSSIBLE at times. he outranges like everything.

when I'm being pressured in my sheild i can't like do ANYTHING. if i try jumping out of sheild to do

anything or even when not being pressured i get SLICED.

i don't think i would have nearly as hard a time versus mox malco or even sheik. at least they don't

have massive range and shut me down MAJORLY HARD.

Marth can't outrange Ganon's spaced bair with any aerial. Check the Ganon vs thread, lots of great anti-marth info.

lol kage you havn't lost to any marths because there are no top level marths anymore, i havn't lost to a marth in years either, get outta here with that. The matchup is in marths favor, 55-45, it's still one of my favorite matchups tho, right after spacies and peach.

Not to join the boat or anything but he went only sheik on me as well, those were friendlies too, I only insinuated that i'd like to play his marth but that was impolite it seemed.

Cactuar not considered high level marth or is it because he plays more fox now, actually i'm not sure if he still plays.

Cosmo is pretty solid in the midwest, but not high level, by the standards i assume you guys are using. I'd like to see him get up there though. I do worse against him now than when I first played him, a lot worse. :\

It's a shame because Marth vs Ganon is one of my favorite match ups, I decided long ago i'd try to make it known that YS is ganon's story, not marth's story. Back to the match up though, getting a good game against marth's as ganon really helps your overall match ups in many ways, just as playing spacies can speed you up, playing marths forces you to space well or you die.
