Haha. I was with Ryan when we found that out. I don't ever remember you saying that but he brought it up and for the whole night if something hit somewhere near the ankle it was a "Kage _verb_".
Younger players should be the best. Out of everyone in the scene they should have the most time to invest into the game. If you're older and play as much as these young dudes and aren't getting results you suck or aren't tier whoring hard enough. Ganon's the exception. :uzi:

Its not hard to learn at all. Its very practical, because when you full jump over them, and then double jump, they will almost always put up their shield.

I always got shielded when I tried that. Ryan was the one who did it on me if I remember right.

I've been shield poking with down airs for as long as I can remeber, Ask Exarch I did it to him almost everytime I played him. Its great when you get it on top of them and it hits their feet through the shield

According to Lambchops, my Ganon is better than Kage's Ganon. He just has more experience.
Also, this is my pool results from HERB2.
Pools:
Hungrybox - 2 - 0'd me... 3 stock and 1 stock. **** Jiggs.
G$ - 2-1'd me. First match, I 2 stocked his Marth on BF. Mother****er counterpicked PS and chose Falco. I got 2 stocked. D: So I rage counterpicked FD and tried to play Falco. **** Falco.
PB&J - 2-1'd me. He played Fox by the way. In the last match, It came down to the last stock on PS, we were both around 100%, and he finished it with an UpSmash.
Reno - 2-0'd me. I ****ing hate Shiek.
I had 10 people in my pool and I ended up getting 5th in pools. I was so close to making it out. It was top 4 that would advance.
Thats all I remember from pools.

Some people still call me the second best Ganon around Houston (even though I win majority of dittos and beat higher ranked people). Sometimes it's just reputation since he's been around for years longer than me.
Really though, there is a Ganon player here who is better than me...but he doesn't even main Ganon ;_;

lol, yeah, because I forgot how to pronounce his real name at the time, so I just said chops, and she went with it, and yeah she calls me that sometimes, that is my real name you know? You see our family has a history of being named after something spider-man related, her name is Web-crawler.

Hey guini I'm soo bad vs Falco. Mind giving me some tips? Sure you been asked a **** load of times but help a brother out. To be honest I feel a lot better vs Fox's.
Vs Falco how do you go about DI and when it comes to getting spiked towards the ground what's the safer and most effective options you have from there? Also how do you approach? What do you use to bait him into attacks?

Obviously I'm not the expert, but last time I saw you fight Falco, it seemed like you forgot to focus on something super important: stage control.
Let's divide FD into 3 evenly defined portions:

If you think about this matchup in your head, I'm sure you'll realize the dynamics change drastically in Ganon's favor when any character is pushed beyond the middle section, with their back to the ledge. Falco is no exception, and IMO, it's easier to get him there than most characters since:
A. He's constantly trying to stay outside your range with lasers, and; B. A lot of his Tech Rolls will be away from you for the very same reason -- he's a fast faller, he'll be teching a lot.
Once Falco's in that position, it's easier to pressure him into making mistakes that will put him off stage, where Ganon can kill him.
Again, you know this, but I notice that whenever I make this a priority focus for my gameplan, not only do I do dramatically better in this matchup; I play Ganon better in general.

The modern Falcos are crazy lol. It's so hard to fight them.

One thing I've seen some of the modern day Falcos doing is this: when Ganon is off stage and recovering and Falco is hanging on ledge, so many Falcos like to drop shine bair to knock Ganon(other chars too) back out. I have yet to see many Ganons DI the shine to avoid getting hit. Obviously if you DI out you're further offstage and sort of back where you started, but perhaps DI in and tech to up-B?
Falcos should be punished for doing this imo, any thoughts?

I need some tips against Sheik other than to chaingrab. At my tourney yesterday I got destroyed in pools by a Sheik player and also knocked out of the bracket by a Sheik player. I'm pretty clueless in this matchup. I don't even want to say what M2K's Sheik did to me in the few friendlies we had.

No, I'M pretty clueless.
On a serious note...if you manage to land a hit on Sheik, make sure you tech chase her to DEATH. She's pretty easy to combo. Edgeguarding is easy as well, just hang on the edge (keep you invincibility by regrabbing, but be careful when she gets close cuz she may try to interrupt you) and ledgehop to punish with the attack of your choice.
One important thing to take note of is that she can duck under your grab. If she does a Dash Attack into your shield, wait a moment for her head to rise before grabbing. Do the same when she recovers onto the stage from her UpB, otherwise she'll duck underneath it and punish you.

Kye that helps. I wasn't really thinking like that vs Eggm. I just want to move around. I saw my mistakes and got some new ideas. I'll remember what you said and try to put that in with my thoughts.
