I bet Guini missed a ledge dash and airdodged to his death. He was doing that a lot when I was playing him.

See Guini. You didn't wanna play him for $20 but you end up beating him. Gotta let em hang sometimes.
Lies, I beat him in the crew, I lost 2 stocks and he lost 3. I 3 stocked him in a friendly as well. He SDed twice in the crew.

Kage seen your matches and you were looking fresh at Genisis. You and Guini are definitely top.

I failed to edgeguard a lot since he's really good at doing mindgame air control with his up b, I was never sure where he's gonna go lol. But if I got him more often I would of won for sure. Bah.. oh well.

Kage if you come down to Southern-California, then I will demand a ditto match. Let's really see how good your Ganon ditto skills are.

Lol, with Genesis results and stuff going on, nobody cares about my tourney lol.

But here are some teams videos, so I want you guys to critique me.

I just watched all of these. The last match was so ****... 8-stocked. Anyways, I believe that you have a solid Ganon. The only advice I can give to you is that you should have more awareness during teams and maybe synch in more with your parter.

Lolz, check out my Ganon in doubles Grand Final in my own college melee tourney:

Hey, I was wondering what the consensus was on using Ganon's Up-B as an offensive move. I've been trying it a bit myself and while abusing it certainly results in a pretty harsh punishment, used a bit more judiciously it basically turns into an unblockable fair. Looking at it statistically, it seems to compare pretty favorably to fair, coming out a frame sooner (more like 8 frames sooner, since you don't have to jump), does similar damage (up to 17), can be done out of shield in either direction, has good range, and of course is a grab. Seems to have a good trajectory too -- might be a good KO move against floaties?

It seems like it has good mix-up potential at the very least. Has anyone else tried using it?

I have tried using it whenever it pops in my mind. It seems like you have to have perfect control of the match in order to pull it off without any punishment. Other than that, you should definitely not use it as much as your other aerials unless if your opponent has a tendency to shield in front of you. I love doing it against Falcon players, especially off the edge. =D

BTW, if you miss your up-b, expect the worst such as Fox's charged up-smash.

It's a good punishment tool out of shield, such as when a character does something meaty and something harsh like Fair isn't quick enough (Fox's Dash Attack).

All the Ganons I've played with use upB a lot. I use it offensively quite often. Certain moves like Peach's down smash and Ganon's side B when blocked give you a free upB out of sheild. Using that move isn't really dangerous when whiffed if you're on a platform stage. It's a good move to do at mid percents and up. To low and you'll get hit.

I've used Up-B OoS to punish a Sheik's dash attack. I was just fooling around because I was ahead. Thinking about it though, since Sheik ducks under your grab if she dash attacks into your shield I think the Up-B OoS isn't too bad.

QUESTION VS PEACH

When you catch turnips is there a way to quickly get rid of them when on the ground? And can you jump, catch turnip, drop turnip, waveland?

Can you Up B OoS of a Falco Pillar shield pressure? I know its been speculated to work if they mess up with Jiggs' Rest OoS, and probably Fox Usmash OoS too. I don't know how fast the UpB on Ganon is OoS, so if anyone can give some specifics, that'd be great.
