And...interesting to say the least (lol SHL):

See? Why don't people just explore the game and try out different stuff, if not for competitiveness, for fun. It's a vast game, ya know.

Another interesting read btw, but it's not really necessary I guess, but if you have time >_>:

Hey guys,

I was wondering... is anyone planning a Brawl tournament/event prior to the North American release in the GTA? I think I speak for many of us when I say it would be an awesome idea.

Sorry if it's already been suggested.

Guys I was joking before, but i am serious. Luigi is the best character in brawl.

You know how u cant get more then 2 hits comboes with people? Think again. Luigi's up-air is the best in the game. it comboes like mario's did in melee. it's awesome.

Not only that, but his chop and d-air are the same strength, good kill moves, and his back air is REALLY REALLY GOOD now. It's a great kill move and edge guard. His down throw sets up for up air comboes, his up tilt is like it was in melee, mad comboes all the time. His up b is faster and stronger,

BASICALLY, the only bad thing about luigi is his tornado, it got nerfed a bit.

But compared to every other character, luigi is simply bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb.

Just watch when the brawl tier list is made, you guys will be saying, "wow, coolhat was right."

Or maybe its just because hes so similar to his counterpart in melee i can play him well. Luigi is the one character in the whole game (maybe besides mario) who got improved in brawl.

GG Brawl, GG

Oh yea, his recovery is really REALLY good. His tornado goes up about half the screen.

I have to watch these vids sometime, but omg, I saw the Morb vs Gimpyfish set, and omg, Luigi *****, Morb's combo on the 2nd match @ 1:29 is nuts (YES, comboes are confirmed for Brawl!!!).

Mario brothers for broken tier in brawl. ;/

Luigi is DEFINITELY not the only character in the game with combos.

Peach can combo very well also...her ground game is ridiculous, 7 hit combos ftw

o_o i think its a little early to start tournaments, i mean the game JUST came out, we dont really have a steady rule set or stage selection. just try to have fun with the game for christ sake o_o

coolhat is right. Luigi is amazing.
I think the characters in this game are pretty well balanced, but Luigi is awesome because he feels like melee and same with Mario. Pokemon trainer i think is amazing , 3 pokemon , 3 different styles of play, but the lag between switching kinda is way to long and you can send the pokeball anywere else =[.

Let's develop some sort of metagame before we start running tournaments. Best of all, how about we get the game in English so Scarborough can train up too without being a bus for like 3 hours. >_>

David's going to murder us all with Kirby, just an FYI.

But the Americans are all doing them already!

Seriously though, I don't think we have to hold a hardcore tournament. But it would be cool if we did get together and play Brawl before it's release. Whether it's a tournament or not I don't really care. However, a tournament would be awesome imo.

If anyone cares to bring brawl to the downtown thingy that's coming up then it'll be very much appreciated.

*yawn* Anyone feeling for some Shanghai? I'm looking at you, Andy, Imadh and Dzenan. LOL.

Brawl makes me lawl (hey that rhymed!).

I kid, I like how things are found so quickly. I'll probably make a list of **** to try after I play everyone and see how the game is.

none of those techniques will be practical

people are trying too hard to make the game technical

it's really really sad

yeah seriously, i can't imagine those ever being useful in actual play.
most of all 'dashing trotting sliding mindgame thing' and 'slide cancelling' seem to be particularly useless...

Glide Throwing backwards is a good way to avoid a shield grab while doing some damage too.
Glide Throwing forwards is a good way to get in close with a stitchy unexpectantly.

I never said I was trying to make the game more technical. They were just discoveries that I thought I'd share and could add more options in certain situations.

Wait wait wait... Why glide in the first place? I mean the games so light that 2 jumps are enough to make it back on the stage anyways...

For the umpteenth time, we don't know jack **** about this **** game. Just give it a rest, it'll probably get technical in a year or something. I wouldn't be at all surprised if despite the efforts of certain people to advance the game, we were all still complete noobs. You know why I think that? Because we barely know how to play the game.

Yeah, my friend is trying to win, haha. And Adnan went the first day too I think (it was a two day one).
