How much of 1 specific beer, Westvleteren 12, can you legally bring back? The closer you buy it to the day you come home the better btw. It's kinda hard to get though, see here:
http://www.sintsixtus.be/eng/brouwerij.htm

PM me if you can do this for me, we can get a price settled, I'll pay double whatever the bill of it is for you or something and pick it up from your house the day you get back

Westy 12 is like the holy grail of beers and you can only get it x24 at a time by showing up in person at their factory (you need an appointment). The guy who runs it doesn't like alot of publicity or some ****, therefore he won't even ship orders to people. I've only ever had 1 bottle of this stuff, hard to come by (price was murder), and it lives up to the hype.

wow, that beer got rated 100.

I want some now.
Yeah, it's not just about being rated 100. Some beers get that with like 2 overall reviews. It's about having 1956 reviews and still holding that while being the top rated beer on ratebeer for years at like a 4.6ish. I also search by "top reviewers" and they all give it the highest, because alot of times you get people who don't know anything and rate Corona like a 5/5, but that doesn't compare to the other like 5000 who rate it a 2/5.

Sounds incredible. Now I really want to try.

Careful newb, the beer I drink is all like 8-10% alcohol or more. This isn't your 3% Molson Canadian anymore. Anyways, the 12 is a really complex beer in taste. You have to try it to understand lol. >_> Hoping Bing can do this LOL It costs like the equivalent of $3 a bottle there.

The trapist beers are awesome.

there is a pub by my house thatt has them.

in order for it to be trapist they need to follow a certain recipe and brewed a certain way by monks, and the monastary has to be over like 200 years or something.

iv had some trapist beers mike and they are worth the price.

Which one? I've found the best commonly available one at pubs in Toronto at least was Rochefort (6,8,10)

Lets do it home boy! I've drank dozens of different beers from all around the world and the alcohol content doesn't bother me (I'm also a pretty heavy vodka/tequila drinker), so I'm ready to throw down!
