Well obviously cleaver is not going to do as much damage as the core AD items (Ie/BT/PD/Lw)

But I want to know exactly how much VALUE the item has.

uhhh what? in what units would you like your value and what assumptions are you making?

Black Cleaver has strong single item DPS vs. roughly sub 100 Armor targets and synergizes well with other forms of armor reduction and flat armor penetration, but doesn't play particularly well with LW in builds.

Good value early, not that great later on. The armor shred is worth less the more armor they have. Before the armor shred it's not worth the gold for just the stats.

Why would you pick warwick if you need a jungle?


Objective: farm to level 6, hope the enemy hasn't snowballed all your lanes by then. Also, hope you don't get cj'd enough that you hit 6 when everyone else is level 9 or something.

You can gank with red, but it's inefficient, especially if you can't get blood scent to kick in. You also clear your jungle pretty slow so getting your red stolen is a major danger.

Even afterwards, he's a very slow farmer, but that's not that relevant cause he's inherently very bulky and item-independent. Send him top lane.


In my opinion anyway.

Well all the jungle Warwicks seem to be doing very well from what I've seen. I mean he was pretty cheap with ip. I think the next jungler I should get is Leesin.

Out of the two, I'd probably do Cleaver on him. He benefits from AS and once he's tanky he can shred armor for other members on the team (less valuable later on if your carry gets LW but oh well). Unless they are the super armor titans, I'd do BC on him. Then again why/when would you be buying that?

Well what's the context of those loses? Is it from Sona the character actually being bad and not accomplishing anything, the team she's on not doing well in general, etc?

I'm not keeping up with the tournament, but simply spouting the W/L stats for characters means much less than seeing what's going on.

While I agree that numbers don't paint the whole picture, DMG, I think that Sona is really weak right now. The way they changed the level scaling on her auras and stuff means that she's a lot weaker pre-level 18 and with how infrequently supports get to level, this seems to have been a pretty huge hit to her utility.

Yeah, it's true that 0/9 doesn't show what's going on behind the scenes, but that's sort of like people complaining about elo. More often than not, statistics will be indicative of reality.

I haven't played too much, but everytime I see a Twitch player, they do annoyingly well... Enough for me to start thinking he needs nerfed, for I am beginning to doubt every Twitch player I find is extremely proficient compared to the rest of the players in the game.

The real problems with Twitch and co with stealth is that the only answer to them are items, which for some makes then useless, Eva, and others just an annoyance, Shaco/Twitch.

i thought qtpie's corki pick with triple dorans BC build made perfect sense when voyboy was playing top lee. they did so much damage in fights because of all that shred, i'd be shocked if this synergy wasn't intentional.

See, the one thing about being an uber stealth mainer for most of my lol career is that "items" don't counter you. Items start to counter you when the enemy team has 5 oracle elixirs and are also pink warding every single brush (extreme example but as long as this isn't true, you have a lot of leeway/strength in espionage and well thought out tactics can have fantastic results).

Actually, what counters them is more so the predetermined role meta.

so the last game of CLG vs AAA

i feel like if kog had built a LW instead of a GA, he would have been able to kill the tree and then move on to the rest of the targets. he always focused the tree down to around a quarter, then moved onto others, then the tree would come back and jump on him/others and be super annoying and help win the last bit of the fight.

or maybe just finish off the tree, but that would probably be dumb

i think i'm gonna set my alarm so i can wake up and watch the finals tomorrow at 6am. anyone else gonna make sure to watch it live?

So, queuing with friends, the other two people afk when game starts.


I still manage to push down an entire lane as a lane skarner with smite, laning versus a tryn btw and occassionally an ashe kayle and shyv when they decide to drop by. This includes inhib.


However... my network connection drops as they do a major push, come back just in time for a nexus explosion....

How ****ing hard is it to play Shen? Go lane top only have like 4 bad MU's run Teleport use Ult to save people do dragon then TP top. Congrats you are now a top 5 Shen.
