whath appened at iem with tsm jpak i couldnt watch the stream
before the tournament regi said "tsm will definitely get 1st or 2nd." they didnt make it out of group stage. lost to crs, sk and m5. when you quit school and make gaming your life you better do well in tournaments! rainman went 0-4 in the deciding game. tsm v m5 was a good match

But then where will they live!?
live same place just the booted player(s) go back to their real home. or they said they were considering moving somewhere warmer

probably on a platform
the games i've seen rainman has been doing well

it seems like oddone/regi are the ones who are having issues this time. haven't really seen oddone doing anything this time, and regi keeps dying in lane 1v1

i've just been watching it all on the restream, i won't get to see most of this game vs ehome cause i have to go run an errand (but i doubt i'll miss much), but from what i've seen, rainman has really stepped it up and regi/oddone are dropping the ball so far

i too was surprised there have a lot of great games (esp from sk)

m5 stealing hbj strats. mobo comp janna mf tf with janna mf 2v1'ing top and hella lane switching. truely king strats.

tsm sucked a huge chode, i attribute their shocking loss to curse because they played like total passive vags and let the game get to 30 minutes before actually forcing teamfights vs. a comp with kogmaw and 4 kogmaw linemen. huge oversight they shoulda been aggressive early and pushed their advantage before kog got big.

Since were talking about teams btw I thought I should ask. If anyone that has a 5v5 ranked team would like to invite me to their team I'm open. I've been trying to do 5v5 ranked with SFL people but no one seems to be interested or seems to want to play with certain people. I'd really like to play with you guys and learn more things from everyone. This would also give me a chance to work on my supporting and other roles if needed.

It just seems like OddOne isn't a good fit for the new jungle to me. He was a ****ing jungle god back when nunus roamed the jungle with a 5 minute oracles, but in this new jungle, I'm just not impressed with his play :(.
totally agree with you

still wish kobe was back on clg though ;_;

agreed with oddone sucking **** recently, wasn't impressed by his play at kiev either (esp. their strat of giving golems to rainman and wraiths to regi, oddone's lee was lv6 at like 25 minutes in one game because of this)

can't see tsm doing any player substitutions, i just think they played like huge pu$$ies this whole tournament, played absolutely vanilla and brought nothing unsuspected to any of the games. most of their comps and strategies were straight out of solo que draft mode, standard cookie-cutter play generally mediocre execution and plenty of mistakes to throw games.

The Rain Man is their weakest player for sure, also Chaox is wayyy too hung up on Miss Fortune.
TRM was not their weakest link this tournament, just because he got ganked a lot doesn't mean he sucked. He played very well this tournament.

They actually camped him because he had been playing relatively well... though I will say that against Curse he did pretty poorly come mid/late game as far as choosing engages.

The biggest flaws right now are Regi losing 1v1s and OddOne being a non-factor in pretty much every game. He doesn't know where or when to pressure well, it seems, or when/how to counterjungle. I agree that he just seems mediocre since the jungle got changed.

I have issues with the viability of a competitive game driven by the desire to make money on the part of the design but I'm posting from a phone so I really can't easily write out an essay on it. Suffice to say the balancing of the game is thrown off by the desire to generate interest in order to make a profit in my eyes at least.

I honestly feel that TSMs biggest problem was picks. They messed a lot of stuff up, but wtf? They picked like it's 2011, every team has evolved but them. They still have zero resemblance of an actual team comp with any strategy whatsoever.

Not even talking about Regi dying 1v1 in lane and not hitting a single charm, Chaox/Xpecial losing every lane and getting caught inexcusably, oddone having zero successful ganks all tournament, giving up free dragons without even knowing the timer (AFTER they got the first one). I used to always root for TSM but they've got some work to do.

mogwai, i want you to know one thing regarding chu. When chu came back he competed in 6 events and failed to place in all of them. Before leaving hon for lol his teams had been getting bodied at tournaments as well. His main reason for leaving (according to a few of my friends from hon) was that hon didnt have lux

I understand the issues with the FTP business model, but I don't think those are sufficient to overlook just how good this game has turned out to be for competitive play and spectating. Even with the horrid casting available atm, LoL is still a lot of fun to watch and makes for great entertainment and with the level of depth the game has delivered, I just think it's absurd that people who are supposedly concerned with the future of eSports are thinking that the coming of LoL is a sign of the appocolypse.

scarra deserves the most of any streamer
^this times a million. scarra's a really cool dude and is pretty ****ing good (you know, with that whole being #1 on the ladder dealie).
