guys! what is the best solo top gangplank build?

i've been getting philo/wriggles/boots then rushing warmog's + atma's

good? suck? situational?

but then what? triforce? ie? force of nature? ghostblade?

i'm starting to like solo top because it lets me freefarm (unlike mid) and i don't have to worry about a dumb support (unlike bot)

I've been working on Bot lane a lot because I feel I really want to develop my support/ad lane.

I'd really like some pointers at some point on how/when to be aggressive with Vayne/Cait. I seem to do fine with Ability ADs like Ezreal/Corki, but I always feel like I'm not orb-walking properly or harassing properly with Cait and Vayne.

Cait I just have issues where I feel like I'm not getting those right clicks enough and spend more time running away from bruisers/assassins than I should be.

Vayne I always seem to get pushed up to turrets early and I struggle to not eat too much harass with Vayne's range while I try to keep the wave off my turret.

Sounds to me like your teammates are dropping the ball here.
Or at least in the case of your Vayne problems.

GP builds are varied in that he can build DMG or tanky, more in one direction or the other. I think your basic build has it right for tankiness/in general

But if your say, getting fed, there may be times based on their team you may want to be building Tforce or IE etc.

I'd agree, but lately with how the meta works, bot lane is always pretty heavily warded and it's actually one of the more free lanes to be very aggressive on.

Watch Doublelift play and he will if possible push to their turret everytime as it gives you better trades (since they are forced to try to cs under tower while you harass them, and they can't really harass back or lose cs).

I really think I just lack the numbers game where I just don't understand how strong I am in certain situations where I should just force trades because I'll be fine.

This will just come with experience, as you play more you will know when you should come out on top of exchanges. As for playing cait, you must maintain 650 range at all times and then most of your matchups will become a lot easier.

Well if you want to push to their tower and not miss any CS, then yeah you need to know your numbers and take shots at minions before you kill them, and not just wait for the wave to move over naturally.

How should I build Karma as a bot lane support? 2-3 gp5 items into standard AP stuff?

Philo -> dring -> morellos + CDR boots.

I don't like investing heavily in gold/10 on support karma, you need that AP and CDR and Mana regen too badly, otherwise you're useless. Support Karma is quite bad for the record, she needs farm to be effective.

health regen quints are great on top laners without innate sustain

I disagree. Really don't like them anymore.

I find GP builds to be some of the most situational. I open regrowth, dblade, cloth, or boots depending on matchup and my builds vary from dblade stack -> straight triforce rush to philo + hog -> atmog's to wriggle's + philo -> phage -> atma's -> triforce.

GP is very flexible in his build options.

We ran Leona/Panth last night with Dphat on panth and Honda on leona. Andy finished with 24 kills and honda put up 30 assists. Its straight up unfair.

What teams do you play on, other than “random baddies i go to school with”? I also get first bloods, and have a broken bottom lane (she just hit 6 and we got a double kill; **** was so cash). You are all baddies who should just uninstall the game. Thanks for listening.
