my elo has been pretty **** for most of this season, I got up to a high of about 1580 and have been as low as 1190.

2-3 days ago talking to Tom + general back of my mind thinking about how I mustn't be playing very well + go for stupid things when I know its dangerous and reflected a bit, respecting the enemy team's capabilities is a phenomenal train of thought. About two days ago I said "I wanted to be back to 1500 by tonight", while I didn't slave through that many games in one sitting, I did my best to really only make plays based on real information available to me and went from 1390-1500 in straight victories - I know that I was lucky not to have an intentional feeder / leaver, but I did deal with purposeful troll picks and a few over zealous ragers.

Because I've played close to a quadrillion games, I've reflected on why things have gone badly, including things like 20 match lose streaks many times. And nearly every time after such a lose streak occurs I go "I shouldn't have kept playing while I was frustrated", while I can't say for certain I wasn't playing as well as I could, I believe frustration can very easily reduce your capabilities to make smart plays.

In the case of Corki, even if you're managing pretty amazing farm in each of those 8 games, besides 'real trolls' and leavers I'm sure there were means of you being able to pull things back. Also playing AD ranged in solo queue at low elo is asking for suffering unless you solo.

this was hands down the worst day of league i've ever played in over a year. i went like 3W 15L at a crappy elo and in normal games. holy **** i'm about to quit this game.

Urgot isn't a ranged carry, so don't try to be that. Urgot is an anti-carry. Your job is to ruin the life of one of their carries. Yeah, get your farm in your lane and all, but ultimately your job is to harass their carries in lane, and harass their carries in team fights. Land an E on their carry and Q him the hell out of the fight. Suppress whoever needs suppressed in the fight. Don't use it to early. Look for that kat ult or malz ult or something like that. You CAN use his ult to initiate by picking off someone early to start the fight 5v4 but I almost always try to save it for mid fight. I can always EQQQ the person I would have picked and get them afraid to fight.

Serious question. Top lane skarner, which matchups should I avoid. Other champs I play well top lane are yorick, Irelia, and shyvana.

Avoid Kennen. You will want to kill yourself in that MU unless you got a ton of farm/items.
