Just hit 30 this week but I can only play Janna and Annie. I've heard that before going to rank games, it's wiser to go play as many normal games as possible. Also, solo que will be frustrating unless you can carry the team really well T.T Is this true? Because I like going support....

Also, going to try to watch more videos of Mellisan.

IMO you want a nice amount of normal games behind your belt for 2 main reasons:

1. More time to learn roles better

2. More time to farm up IP so you don't have huge gaps in rune coverage (I have an "Carry" page and a "support" page but not a jungler or AP carry or etc page.)

Mostly #2. You don't want to go into a ranked game and fall short on runes.

If I play Nasus I usually just hope my team is competent enough that I can ignore them for 20 minutes.

Nasus is all about getting 5 minutes of free farm and suddenly being almost as godly as singed,
20 minutes after that.

For their legacy shall drift away, blown into eternity like the poison trail of another character.

Ok, I have to say this. I really hope Skarner doesn't get huge buffs because he's already very good, thanks in part to his absurdly high base AD.

i was useless the rest of the game

i may or may not have accidentally started feeding halfway through but still

boots of mobility on skarner is really fun though lol

Well, if Skarner does get a buff then maybe I won't rage as much when people pick him on my Dominion team, or laugh as much when the other team selects him.


I dunno if anyone has ever mentioned this before but I wonder if I have a stupid meta idea or not.

I was thinking if you have first pick you could ban any three of Janna, Sona, Taric, and Alistar and then select the last one with your first pick. This would force them to either attempt some sort of kill-focused bottom lane or have a subpar support like Karma or Leona.

Obviously this only works in a tourney with three or more bans or if your opponent firstbans a support for some reason.

With Nasus, if you can't win the lane, you want to avoid it. You can do this through his huge movespeed, whither, and his lifesteal. Just don't go into slugfests (he's not a bruiser low level, but later on is the best hands down).

Don't miss Qs, especially at turret. If you autoattack, you can go straight into a Q (this helps with getting an extra bit of lifesteal off, otherwise it's mainly used for harass).

On Nasus I usually run 0/15/15 for the 3% move speed buff, as well as extra mana regen, with teleport/flash or ghost (depends on teamcomp).

AFKfarm forever- win game.

Build nothing but tank + triforce and it's impossible to not be ******** (except against kogmaw) god I hate him.

Every single game, I'm getting a hugely positive score as well as lots of assists and scaling very well into late game. Jungle Skarner is the only kind of Skarner because he so badly needs that blue. I'm thinking the only reason people think Skarner is so bad is because they lane with him (huehue no mana) or build AP (huehue no damage). Seriously, I'm constantly outjungling Nocturnes and Warwicks and my ganks are very strong pre-6 and ludicrously strong post-6. I just fail to see how anyone in their right mind could see that Skarner is auto-loss. In fact, I've been seeing Skarner a little bit more recently, either because people are excited about the buffs and can't wait or because my work is inspirational. I choose to go with the latter and don't you dare disagree!

I'm not sure if I should argue about him though. He's my main and I tend to get very stupidly passionate about my mains. >_>

why do people think that?

I almost felt like punching my team's ranged carry a few months ago when the enemy team had nasus and he wouldn't ****ing listen to me when I said get mercs... it was then followed by "mercs doesn't work on wither any more" by our ranged carry + our ap carry.

Its almost as bad as people thinking Shaco's clone can't do on hit effects or something.
Or that crit damage modifiers do not effect Shaco's deceive crit...

i played him all of that one time so yea, you probably know more

part of it could be because no one knows what to do against a skarner or how he can gank pre 6 and stuff. but either way, whatever works works and no reason for you to stop

Skarner has some pretty terrible mana issues, which they will hopefully be fixing.

Ironically, he has great synergy with Gunblade. Funny how they're nerfing that.

Also, yeah, the mana issues are only existant in lane. Idk, I've never seen a character who's build can sorta drastically change depending on his role (jungler v. laner).

Also, also, Scamp, I usually don't play dominion, but I did recently and holy crap Skarner sucks there. Ironic, considering it's his homeland.
