You actually get more IP for your time in Dominion than in Summoner's Rift, BUT, if you have IP boosts the latter is more worthwhile (because Dominion doesn't give you the flat 150 you are supposed to get).

Had a dream last night that my whole team consisted of 5 Trists. Bought Dorans, leveled up Explosive Shot, and then woke up before I even left base.

I'd would've like to see how 5 Trists plays out. I take it no videos of hacks of allowing the same champions on the same team exists

Poppy on Dominion is fun. Can hold a tower for quite some time, lots of little walls to slam people, and her juking/burst in the jungle is amazing so you can distract 2/3 people for quite some time while your team does real work. Sadly you don't get objective points for playing like that.

She also zones people really well by forcing them away from wallslams.

No, just from Poppy on Dominion. Super mobile, one of best 1v1ers in game, and her greatest weakness (that she can't farm) is moot. Not to mention walls everywhere.

Wow yorick in dominion is crazy. was able to hold bot solo while 4 people focues entirely on top. the only times i had trouble holding on was in 3v1 situations which meant it was a 4v2 up top and we took the 3 top points for losing 1 bot point (their bot point). since yorick lasts forever and even when you do kill him he comes back and keeps you from capping/kills you for 10 seconds. heh.

I have 5456 IP with 5 IP boosts left and about to get 975 RP from 10 smurfs... Not sure what to buy. I need a new AD and was thinking Shaco or Riven, while AP I was thinking either Anivia or Swain.

@slush: anivia and swain are my two favorite heroes!

but you should definitely try them out during their free weeks before getting them, since they are both 6300 ip, which is a huge investment

so in our ranged 5's we have been doing some double AP snare stun combos bot lane that have been pretty good. I did an Anivia + Maokai that completely wrecked Ashe and Soraka.

Sometimes we do brand + annie, which is quite fun. I definitely think that could be a counter to the support + ranged AD bot lane meta that has been around the past few months.
