Lol, Trundle such a smart choice by Canada in the CA vs US game. Such a strong slow makes the Kog, Nid, and Cass poke ridiculous (and US does not have the sustain to counter it).

I agree. He's always been sleeper strong champ that gets no love b/c he's ugly looking and has one scaling skill, lol. He's pretty enjoyable though.

Just finished smurfing a terrible Dominion game. I finished with 2128 points, next highest on my team was 1391. We won, barely.

Dominion I've only really had fun with in a full house.

Dominion is good for me because the games are shorter. Makes it easier to jump on when the kids are taking an afternoon nap or something and jam in a couple of games. 20 minutes is so much better than potentially getting stuck in an hour long slugfest on SR.

I figured out that I really like playing "defender" style champs in Dominion. Caitlyn is kinda awesome at that, although not nearly as good as Heimer or Shaco. Forcing people to come fight at a huge disadvantage isn't a bad thing at all. Rammus is just ******** though. I played him in a game today, opened boots3/regrowth pendent and got top half-captured before the enemy team even showed up. Then I just powerballed around the map like crazy, taunting people to their deaths, stopping caps, etc. Given how unbalanced a lot of the character interactions are though, I think I'll stick to draft mode, which means I won't get much Rammus in at all.

Personally those are the most fun type of games that I have on SR. When games go that long its because it's been back and forth with both teams being about even in strength. Maybe a few mistakes here and there from each team, but nothing game ending. When it gets to that point it really becomes about your ability to farm up until that point, and positioning in fights. It feels so good when you just barely win that last team fight and take advantage of it enough to pull out a win, or the inhib that leads to your win. Even when I lose those games I'm not upset because I had such a good time playing it. Not like those games that are over in like 15 minutes just waiting another 5 to surrender.

But it definitely sucks when those real epic games happen when you don't have time. Which is definitely my favorite part of Dominion. I want to play some League, but I just don't have time for SR. I think SR is more enjoyable, but get a full team of inhouse Dominion and it's definitely almost as fun. To me, Dominion with all of my friends is like turning on all the items in Melee and having at it in a free for all. I have more fun in a real skill testing environment as somebody who is naturally competitive with games, but sometimes you just want to have some crazy, hectic fun.

1571 and climbing. I am the luckiest solo Q'er.

Feeders. DC'ers. Whiners. Ragers. Trolls. All on the other team.

For the rest of the people complaining about SoloQ? I'm the guy on the other team.

The implication that there is no skill involved in Dominion is absolutely hilarious.

I'm not saying that there is no skill in Dominion, just like I wouldn't say there is no skill to playing with items in Smash.
I just think that SR is a much better testing ground for how well you can actually play. Dominion is a lot more forgiving than SR is overall really.

i find it easier to carry games in dominion. skill comes through more than it does in SR because a single player can have a larger impact in dominion.

that being said, the game clearly isn't balanced around dominion and some heroes are way better than others.

You have never played a map control game at a high level, obviously. Dominion has much greater potential depth as well as more watchability than something like SR ever will.

Just played a ranked game where I went 0/7 against a talon in lane as cho. Never laned against one before, and was playing really stupid.

Surprisingly, my team didn't rage at me, even though mid fed 0/5 as well. I suggested we just turtle hardcore because they didn't have a tank and would lose teamfights. We did just that, and ended up winning the game. My score at the end was 13/9/14, felt good to redeem myself and that my team didnt just give up after I fed.

It's very boring, but the team is very well put together. The synergy of Trundle's pillar both for the poke and for running away is really strong.

People need to stop being dumb though, and pick some kind of healer when they see them starting to set this up... or at least take Trundle from them so you can actually converge. This might have been the perfect time to try Heimer/Soraka.

I guess they need to give ashe's ult to at least 3 new champions in the form of a low cooldown q/w/e just to:

1. make ashe useless
2. make money
3. less stally games.

POOR TRISTANA

League of Legends is so.... funny though.
Nearly every meta I've seen has come back twice or more now -

the cycle of nerfs and buffs continue.

LIKE

Morgana was the queen of AoE team comps all those millenniums ago. She's back.
Heimer was the king of poke... he's getting buffed.
Soraka was the queen of poke/heal comps. Still reasonably strong.
Garen was the king of tanky deeps. He's back.

everything now is like a low fat version of what it used to look like

I rarely have problems with trolls and feeders in my normals as well. Not sure why.

Think I'm on my 12th ranked game streak, although I got a bit drunk and lost some normals ruining my overall win streak but THAT'S OKAY.

On a less ME related note and more game related one... Kennen!

Suggested runes/masteries/skills/everything? He seems best when he's hard as hell to harass or trade with. Feels like a pretty solid game-changer purely on the CC of his ult alone, provided the other team doesn't have Janna, and I like playing characters that can just win the game when I do well.

I've been using Heimer exclusively in Dominion. Rush top with 2 people. Drop a turret in turret circle. Once we capture I just sit there and defend. I bring the turret defense thingy mastery and the level up a minion mastery. When people stop trying to take top I slow push their mid with the upgraded minion. I also get Zhonya's early for stasis and Guardian Angel so turrets keep doing damage if they dive.

I hate losing top in Dominion.

Then I tried Heimer in SR. Now I'm in love. Nearly got a full win page. Kept going mid. ***** Ashe, Brand, Annie, and Orianna in CS and always got their tower. Got destroyed by Caitlyn.

Link Below:
Ego Ignaxio's Guide to Kennen

The only guide you need for Kennen... Watch the vids they are pretty useful for tricks on how to combo string with him. I still prefer Flash for keeping them in Kennen's ult though.

One of the cooler things I picked up from Ego is getting your W passive up (next autoattack gives mark, you can tell when your buff counter for it turns blue) then using E to get close to the enemy. If they run away so you know you can't hit them or you don't want to trade too heavily, you just cancel E once your in autoattack range and autoattack + W.

If they let you hit them with charge and you want the trade:

Charge past, autoattack passive, autoattack, W (stun), Free Q. As long as you stick some autoattacks in there you can get a few stuns in, especially with your ult.
