2. Going up 12/13 elo per game is gay compared to 20-40.

"elo hell" isn't the idea that you're stuck below your true elo forever

it's the idea that you get bad luck at the start of a season and have to put in 10x more time and effort to get to your true elo than most people do.

it happened to me during season 1 and apparently it's happening to shaya during season 2.

i still haven't started i'm still at the elo that all the 1500-1600 players got reset to, so i'm waiting for them to trickle up lol

i'm trying to perfect my lane dominance with swain and cassiopeia before i start. solo mid is my preferred role and is the only way i can be sure to carry a game.

I don't know he puts a ton of content out to the community and for the most part is more enjoyable to watch make Vlogs then any other top player I've watched them for.

And you know we can still be friends baby <3 see you at RoM.

Eh.

I would put a lot of my losses (and even wins) at player's disconnecting. These occur a lot less the higher you go. I would say 1/3rd to a half of games I've played in this season have had a game changing disconnect.

I would put a lot of the frustration of losses (and even wins) at player's not knowing how to win ('group up and push while they're ****ing around' wins every time at 1300-1500 elo, sub that its unlikely to be possible to coordinate). This causes games to always go for 40-50 minutes as teams refuse to surrender and I will keep going (singlehandedly elongating games by playing smart - but the likelihood of a comeback is chaos incarnate).

Now... "BAD PLAYERS" or "TROLLS".
"Trolls" is not an elo hell john, they exist everywhere.
BAD PLAYERS - cause extreme frustration (i.e. my second elo hell john) but if you're better than the elo you're in, you should be carrying harder.
However, the ability to carry harder is chaos incarnate.

Carrying harder = always play an AD Bruiser top or in the jungle and win 1v5. Lee Sin, Irelia, WW, etc.

At least that's my recipe.

Yeah, that helps a lot.
IMO Jungling is not as 'good' as you'd think. Most junglers can't turn a lost lane around - nor can they gank without either coming out at a loss (time/health/potential death) or gaining nothing (your lane can't even join the fight).

Jungling snow balls, but my god its hard to gank a lane where its like "OMG CANT DO ANYTHING OR I DIE HURP GAREN" so my team mate is always under half while the enemy is at full getting free farm.

What are you meant to do to help that? A lot of laners can ensure their safety to avoid backlash.

What do you use/run for Xin Zhao? Also for GP (if you have jungled him)? Those are the next 2 junglers I'm going to be practicing in normals once I get the hang of Nocturne. Nocturne to me is so much easier to play soloQ normals than premade 5s. I always pubstomp one way and do pretty poorly to "ok" in the other. Probably because my normal elo is lower.

I think that will pretty much round out being familiar with all the main junglers.

I can say with full confidence that after the reset, elo hell is everywhere. I've been front page, all the way down to 1500, back up to 1600s, I can't remember the last game where everyone wasn't an enormous pile of ****, and just said GGs. :/

Also, I find the most success in either jungling, or soloing as an AP carry. Duo just doesn't let you accomplish what you need to in order to win, imo.

Dekar what do you do for early levels abliities for Cho jungle? I've jungled Cho before typically 0-21-9 because I typically pick Cho or Amumu as my tanky jungles. My jungle clearing time is atrocious though. I'm saving the ip to try out your page but I don' t really know what to run on him either to get the fast clear time.

I feel I only think i'm jungling decently cause i'm using fiddlesticks.
I never start at blue buff though. Two golems, Wolves, Wraiths then golem and either gank or dragon at level 5. (though the last few times i've taken dragon I was at level 7 and i'd finally B when I have over 3k gold)
Since I intend to get Shaco as AD for sure, i'll test out his jungling I guess and see if it isn't just a fluke.

Going from Fiddles to Shaco is quite a leap lol. Shaco is one of the harder junglers to be effective with.

21/0/9, my AD Jungle Runepage, smite flash

dblade or boots to do a level 2 gank, vamp scepter to farm jungle

double gols -> (level 2 gank optional) -> wraiths -> wolves -> blue -> back and buy -> small gol first full clear

post wriggle's + boots, get phage, then play the game by ear. I tend to do Wriggle's Triforce Wit's End GA and another tanking item, but I tend to do that on WW/Irelia too because it's just a very strong carrying bruiser build.


I don't really play GP, but everything seems to be vamp scepter -> wolves first small clear -> full clear -> wriggle's triforce with heavy ganking once you have red.

I think he meant going bottom in solo queue, not duo queueing. And I feel the same way as he, I find carrying in solo queue impossible from bot lane.

Vayne 'cuz I want an Ashe replacement and she's a solo-mid carry.
Heimer because he's ****ing fun and pushes turrets like a boss.
Or Shaco because he seems to be a great counterjungler and the only jungler I have at the moment is Amumu.
