I know a guy who switched from his main account to his smurf because after goofing off on it long enough, he actually had a much better W/L ratio.
Now having more than like, 3 smurfs, doesn't sound like a great idea unless you want hold onto funny summoner names before anyone else can.
If you like feeding on purpose, Spoonfeeder (mine) is near perfect lol

Oh man, I thought I was going to have to rant about Eve again. That goodness that conversation has passed!
As for smurfs, I would guess that most people with a lot of smurfs got them before ranked games came out. You couldn't really see your ELO, and it was fun to have a bunch of different names to do different things with. And, of course, they were good to have to play with friends so you could all be at the same level.

I went godlike vs people like HotShot and LocoRoco with side lane Gangplank and carried our team (with BigFatJiji, Grandjudge, etc) hardcore. Had 0 deaths that game. No pics necessary though. Both Hotshot and I streamed it at the same time 
In other news, I lost 100 ELO in less than 2 hours. I wanted to take a break last night. Lost 20 ELO from PVP crashing, played 2 3v5s in a row, and some other garbage. Yay for baddies!

I have no pics, but it did happen. *shrug* if I were making it up, I would've penta'd while stealing Baron with my ult.

Too bad Blitzcrank is garbage.
I really had high hopes for him when Manamune was first released (although the current Manamune is the worst item in the game). He even has the best skin in the game. But he's just SO bad :/

If you made a flowchart of Blitz gameplay, there's not a single positive thing on there besides what happens if you answer yes to "Is your opponent bad/dumb?"

I just did a solo queue where everyone on my team was CONVINCED that getting Jungle Buffs was more important than taking a bit of time to defend towers from going poof. "Bro but I need Lizard/Blue to Gank" when 5 people pushing mid tower and Im the only one clearly there.
Could have been worse. Despite being the only person who warded, took the solo lane, had more minions than the carry at mid while having to guess sometimes when mid would come for a gank because Mia calls "Are never needed", and the only person building any MR, or heck any defense period (Merc Treads included) against Mumu/Morgana/Nunu/Tryn/Nidalee, I'm sad to say it could have been much worse.

So why is mid always the solo lane? Are double-mid strategies ever viable?
I admit I'm not exactly a high elo player, but it seems to me it would be interesting to have 2 mids. You could get like, heimer and some other pusher and push the **** out of the tower. The other team would be confused and might have to switch around their lanes, and your team would be prepared. It would also be easier to gank the side lanes any time you wanted.
Or is it... frowned upon, or something?

You tend to give mid to 1 person because of two main reasons:
1. Mid gets creeps the fastest because it is the shortest path for creeps to take. Diagonal through the map as opposed to straight up and curving around. Mid is the perfect lane to give your carry/person who needs a gold and EXP advantage so they can either contribute more when the time comes, or help gank. Having two people at mid means you have to split the gold and EXP against the other person. This can mean in a lot of cases, despite having two people to push with, the opponent in your lane will gain exp and gold at a high enough rate to outlevel you by quite a bit, with enough Mana or Health or power to stop your push attempts. Also, it's easier to branch out for ganks as a mid because you can easily pick from either lane to reach. If you want a gank character to take a side lane, and the lane WAY on the other side needs a gank, it means more distance you need to travel/more wasted time and gold/exp loss if nothing happens. So generally you leave mid alone as 1 person because it's the best lane for getting a level advantage over everyone else, which is ALWAYS a good thing.
2. If you have a jungler which is common if not necessary in better games, this already means a side lane will have to solo. Putting two champs at mid is a big gamble; both side lanes will be solo now making ganks a very large threat for your team to deal with. If you start off with two people at mid, and a lane needs help, whoever you send from mid to go help will not be as high of a level as if there was only 1 person. Now you gotta spend time going to help, while whoever stays at mid would have been better off by himself. Even worse, say that when you leave, because you leeched EXP and gold from him, that HE now needs help. Now the situations spirals downwards because everyone is gonna need or likely to need help, and you won't be strong enough to do it.
TL:DR
Generally leave mid to carries or people who farm strongly and easily defend lanes. Preferably carries because they tend to be pretty good at helping or ganking. I'd rather have Trist or Kog or someone else take mid over Heimerdinger/Nasus/Sion/etc

Well, I see 2 other things as bigger issues...
1. Mid is easier to gank since ganks can come from either direction.
2. Mid towers are closer to each other and there is no convenient brush for zoning, making leveraging a strong 2 v 1 lane into a zone such that you're denying gold/exp is really really hard.

I'm having a lot of trouble playing as twitch...>_<
especially in the last game vs morgana...god midding vs her is annoying....
I tried doing the dorans blade stack -> inf edge and last whisper, and it seems to work pretty well, but I find it especially hard to position myself most of the time...i dunno if it's just me, or if the teams i've been with just didn't support me well enough or what....

your team didn't support you well enough. you're playing Twitch ffs, it's always their fault, geez, l2p.
