Hi there, I play LoL but I'm a European so we can't play together...
I heard some rumors about the top Americans players but apparently Europeans say (don't know if it's true or not) that Europe>>>>>USA in LoL...

By the way my tag is "Azen" (fanboy inside) and I play Anivia, Cho'gath, Teemo, Kog'Maw, Malzahar, Garen, TF and Kayle. (I also play almost all the casters except Annie and Morganna)

PS: Is there any top player playing TF in USA?

Yeah... ummm... EU is going to get stomped at the WCG finals. Just saying!

TF was my main like... 5 months ago or so? He's been nerfed quite a bit and I wouldn't really recommend him anymore, but you can basically build him however.

I believe full blown AP TF is the strongest of them right now, just as a poker with Rylai's + Wild Cards.

After that, I'm surprised by how much I like the gimmicky SotD rush build as with ArPen runes + SotD, you have like, 60 ArPen really really fast and that just makes your level 6-11 ganks really brutal + it transitions well into bloodrazors for the split phys/magic damage output on your auto-attacks.

if euro players think they're better than USA players, they're in for a really rude awakening at WCG world finals.
I don't know I wouldn't be so sure, but sadly the best European team lost at the European qualifications in GF (after having won winners finals)... I mean, usually Europeans don't say they're the best or at least not as much if they're not sure about it and I know that usually Europeans are really good at this kind of games on computers...

Can't wait to see how would be WCG but I would have liked to see the real best team, I mean it's like if instead of having Mango you would have got Hbox to represent the best Smasher in USA...

Btw apparently we don't have the same opinions in Europe and USA for the tier list, even if we have the same version of the game.

no, we've known for awhile. there have been a number of community sponsored tournaments and CLG *ALWAYS* wins.

and yea, big differences in the European and US tier list ideas. I think there are pieces of each that are right (Europe underestimates Kass/Nasus, US underestimates Akali for example).

Ap TF is so much fun. Port in toss out your burst and run away. I've gotten double kills at towers like that and it's hilarious.

Indeed, Europeans it seems favor kiting and poking over our tankier metagame.

Actually I think they overrate Kass (I've seen him in tier 1 spots on EU tier lists, that's pretty high even if you think he is the best caster). The rest seems about right, although Nasus has been slipping a bit IMO. The sheen damage buff helped him out, he's just been relatively unchanged patch after patch besides SS becoming undodgeable and minor things.

Weird, last EU Tier list I saw had Kass pretty low iirc. *shrug*

but on to Nasus, he doesn't even need Sheen. That re-buff makes it more appealing, but I dunno man, straight tank Nasus is still just sooooo strong. They refuse to touch the character because he really doesn't need anything... he's just good.

He's incredibly balanced, but other people below him have gotten buffs, and some of the new characters released have gotten over him (from the Garen/Ez times to Xin to even MF).

I like sheen on him, after going a bit tanky first. Something like Aegis to Sheen to Veil/Sunfire/tank item works pretty well IMO. Early game he's a bit wimpy both Health and Damage wise (talking before level 11 or so), after getting some health that will let him keep up better. Only really unnecessary thing about Sheen is the AP it gives, feels misplaced on Nasus, but that's about it.

lolkmogwai. i really don't check out their forums. i watch clg livestream when i feel like it or can't play and learn stuff but never really read forums much.

mostly just playing with friends from school and stuff.

and i just spent 20$ on rp for no reason.

gonna let it sit there, on my new account, until level 30.

oh yeah, who's broken in 3s?

80% of the Europeans and maybe me (however I'm starting to change my mind on this) think that Nasus is a VERY low character...

Kassa is quite good but I don't think any good Euro thinks he's the best caster.

I'm wondering what's the current USA tier list?

And what CGL or whatever stands for (who do they play?)

Counter Logic Gaming?

I'd think you'd at least know who they are before assuming there going to loss to anyone.

>_>

and HSGG and others play lots of characters. I love HS' Nidalee though, I still haven't been able to play this rotation and I want to try her and MF.

Strong Early game characters, mobility/attacks through walls, Beefy. These 3 things dominate TT lol. Mundo, Garen, EZ, Gragas, etc. Other strong choices are those that influence team fights dramatically like Poppy.

Mundo is either the best or second best overall champ on TT when played well with a good surrounding team comp. He's so versatile on the map, there is little he does not excel at (% based damage is GREAT for early dragon and Lizard as well as harassment Early game, he can throw cleavers through walls, he can get around the map quick with his ult, etc). He's not great in certain team comps, but overall you would probably do fine learning him for TT.

As for Nasus, it really depends on how much you think his sub par early game affects him and the team in the long run IMO. Nasus just isn't the kind of champ that does well in early team fights, he scales well past mid game but it takes some time to get there. That's about the only thing really holding him back besides his high mana costs, but you can more easily manage that.

I don't really see why Nasus would ever be low. He's just getting power creeped. Galio, Shen... both better in a side-lane these days. I love Nasus, best voice over in the game imo. He's still strong if you've got nobody else to off-tank. I'd never rate him low.

The new Innervating Locket is ****ing amazing.

The thing about CLG is they play a certain style and play it very well. There are several viable ways to play the game, and the game is not that difficult to play mechanics-wise, so it's easy to think that you can do better than them if you're watching them. And there are teams out there that can beat them.

But as far as results go, there's no denying they're the team to beat.

I'm actually excited about the WCG thing because of the different styles each region is bringing. From what I've seen and heard the asians play a vastly different style and Europe has differing opinions on the value of characters. Should be good.

BTW Mogwai, I think Kass being tier 1 is a reference to Wickd's tier list.

Yun, Chun, and Ken. Followed closely by Makoto.

Seriously, though, the best at TT are generally junglers and people who are simply strong at every level.

In addition to the champs already mentioned, Warwick is exceptionally strong there.

Also, don't sleep on Zilean in 3s.

After losing 200 ELO due to a day of drinking and premaking with low ELO peoples, I wondered if I could break top 100 again with Gangplank instead of AP Gragas.

I did. 1736 baybeh

Good for beginners, takes a good bit of skill to use against people who know what they're doing. He's decent overall I'd say. Do not get trapped into "maining" in LoL. Use atleast 4 characters well. It'd be best if they all were different types (Caster, Tank, Carry, etc)

For now, playing Pantheon / Amumu / Ashe / Annie.

I would play Ez but honestly, SSing is too hard when you have <20 fps.
