LOL you were in that match?
I was watching that on stream.
His first game with Jinx and he gets back to back penta.
Then in his second game with her he had a penta robbed by the support.

Pretty much.
Though to make sure you're still a special snowflake, here's a border (or second border if you ranked from previous season) for the skin if you use it in-game, an icon and your RP you spent on it back :^)

Will admit though, getting the rp you spent on it back is pretty neat. Though that essentially means you're just getting the money back you spent on it years ago and now you have RP you can use on something else.

If only that rp could return to our wallets

I never liked limited skins. I always thought any holiday skin should be rebuyable when that holiday comes around. Limited items is a very short term way to make money. And it only leads to resentment from new players because they know they can never get that skin just because they are new.

Good stuff Riot.
I joined month after the Snowdown skins so I'm glad I'll finally be able to pick them up. I've had my eye on them for so long.
And I'll finally be able to pick up my missing Teemo skin...

I'm confused as to why ahri of all things is getting nerfed so much. Wasn't there some stat where she went like 0-5 during the 2 semifinals series at worlds? Meanwhile Orianna went 6-0 and Zed was permabanned...what?

They just removed all the wording in the abilities that said they applied marks, and now his passive says all of his abilities apply marks.
I guess it just cleans up his toolbar or something?
The only actual changes to Kennen as far as I can see is marks lasting longer.

Yay Corki nerfs. Yay "Moderately reduced Jarvan's knockup collision radius." Ahri nerfs, idc really, sounds like they want her to be more skill-oriented, I'm ok with that. Morgana changes make sense, Shen's taunt was nerfed apparently (originally reading the PBE notes it looked like a buff, so ok.) Swain buff oh snap. Syndra finally getting indicators for her pool ball shot. Also heimer stuff I haven't read yet. Glad worlds are over, Riot finally focusing on interesting things again :D

Kinda disappionted at the lack of Zed and Zac nerfs so far ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The ultimate version of the grenades can only damage once it seems. It damages three times, each with a stun/slow. You will be CC'd multiple times by it though.

dem rockets though
That's like some potential Snydra level burst.

And good god if you ever walk into a turret nest now. It's already super dangerous to walk in on a Heimer, but now that he'll have the potential for four turrets... Ouch. Looks like his Baron/Dragon control will be unmatched.

Jinx really doesn't have mana issues aside from her early levels, and even then it's only if you are doing nothing but shooting rockets.
Like yeah, it's cool that you stack Tear super quickly, but honestly it's probably just best to get yourself a Bloodthirster and use her good ratios.

Lucian needs to be good first before any item is good on him

Anybody who can avoid trading with him in general.
Stuff like Riven, Renekton, Rengar, and the like will be forced into trades when they try to CS and there really isn't out trading Udyr, at least not early on.
God forbid if you ever get hit by double Tiger cheese.

The recent patch addressed Lucian's stupid bad early mana problems for a caster, so he doesn't really need tear. If you're stacking mana the manamune does do a lot of damage with his passive procing it twice per auto. I'm not sure if it works on his ult though. if It did he would run out of mana so fast.

He scales so well off of bonus AD that generally the best build is BT > tri >lw. Then you build accordingly to the game regular adc options.

I think lucian is actually in a good spot right now.

Jinx on the other hand... Her early game is pretty ass due to her really low base attack speed. She will get out traded just because early lvls other adcs will get an auto,>spell> auto before jinx gets her two autos. If she gets free harass its better but she doesn't out range anyone relevant until like lvl 5 I think? Her early trading potential is all in her mini gun, however the range leash is really hard to break for her with her 325 ms. She will get kited pretty badly and out traded early because she cant get the autos in to stack up her q. But thats when supports come in and bot lane is just a huge **** fest anyway. If she gets fed she hyper carries. She takes longer to get going than like... kog or vayne but damn she hurts.

To me she feels like a mixture between tristana and varus. Has tristana like hyper carry and attack speed buff, but with varus's lack of (immediate) mobility and caster-ish utility in team fights, and well as a passive that lets them snowball through teamfights as soon as someone drops on the enemy team.

Is the scalling really that stupid? or are the base dmg's too high?

Her lvl 1 is still really crappy compared to all the other adcs. If she has a weak spot in lane its in the first 3 lvls.

Theres no doubt they will tone down her base damage on her w and probably shave 10% off her max as buff from q at least.

The scaling is pretty damn high. 1.4 total AD, I think the base is like 30-210 iirc. Level 1 it does ~140 damage.

140% of AD is quite a bit. She's so damn strong, I'm sure she's stronger than release graves. Glad her Pow pow guts her attack speed, but the attack range it gives is bleh.

Doesn't help her W is also 200/500 range more than Xerath Q E and R with W active, I hated playing against a damn diamond 1 Jinx mid lane as Xerath.
Felt bad being outpoked for once in mid ; ;
