Sup. I just wanted to talk about driving tests and preparations and stuff like that.
I just got my drivers license this morning, and it was much less of a hassle than I thought it would be. I was worried for no reason.
How did you guys feel when you got your license? How early did you wake up, were you nervous, did you fail the first time? what did you do to ease your nervousness?
My test was at 8:30am, and I woke up at like 5 and couldnt go back to sleep because there was pain in my neck and it became stiff lol. I took out my DS and beat Ultimate mortal kombat 3 while waiting for the sun to rise. Then, I ate breakfast and practiced parallel parking in my front yard between my parents' two other cars (parallel pakring is required in NJ) Then I drove to the DMV. They had this little course where you just make a couple turns, parallel park, backup, k-turn and then drive to the end of the course, and he passed me.
Feels pretty good, now I can cruise down to local tournaments
Share your experiences. If I could give advice to new students, then it would be to pass the Drivers education class at school at all costs. You get your permit without having to take the written test at the DMV, and then practice practice practice for the six months as often as you can, on ACTUAL roads, and you will pass the test with a brease. And also don't feel bad if you don't pass on your first try, I witnessed at least 11 -15 people fail on the course over the times that I went there to practice.
