I think as far as Bowyer being a stage hazard, it would be better to just have him shooting arrows at the players like in the town. And they could stun you for a few seconds if you get hit. I see this button disabling idea a lot, but to be honest I think that would be Wylie's castle and ice mountain level of intrusive. I feel like few people would ever want to play that stage, even in casual play.- Forest Maze (Bowyer as a hazard that randomly disables Smashes, Shields, or Specials)
- Star Hill (random stars [or wishes, rather] come crashing down on people)
- A compilation of SMRPG overall, kinda similar to the DQ one where you're on a platform and flying around, mixed with Magicant that has the memories/clips in the background.
Man I really wish I could find my post on this exact thing. It's actually a bit difficult to pick 10 tracks because there's so many good ones.
- (x2) The two that were copyright taken down, obviously
- Fight Against Monsters (because it's an absolute classic and a total banger)
- Fight Against a Somewhat Stronger Monster (^)
- (x2) Fight Against Kajioh (Smithy); both phases (^^)
- Koopa Castle (second time) (first song you hear in the game after the intro; I think it's one of the not-as-known as the bigger songs, but still heard a lot. I also picked specifically the longer version you hear at the end of the game as opposed to the beginning because the first version is very short and will grate your nerves hearing it for awhile)
- Still, the Road is Full of Dangers (Bandit's Way was the first time this plays) (there should be one exploration song thrown in there)
- Hello, Happy Kingdom (probably remixed) (one of the few songs that actually exists outside of SMRPG [was in Fortune Street]; I could see it making its way to Smash as well, but it'd definitely need some remix work)
- The Starlight's Flower Shines on Star Hill (probably remixed) (Star Hill's pretty important to Geno, so...)
- If the stage is a compilation stage, I could see a medley of most of the soundtrack being used in one song.
How many do I have to pick? I barely go into the Spirit Boards. Gonna just do around 10 I guess.
- Smithy (first phase)
- Smithy (second phase)
- Smithy Gang (consists of Mack, Bowyer, Yaridovich, and Axem Rangers)
- Exor
- Croco
- Belome
- Booster (and his 3 Snifits?)
- Jinx?
- Gaz?
- Maybe SMRPG versions of Mario/Bowser/Peach? Honestly I'm kinda having trouble with these; 10's kinda hard D:
This is actually perfect because Classic Mode has 7 battles, so something like "The Road of Seven"; the road taking from the Star Road, and seven obviously being the seven star pieces.
- Mallow (assuming CacoMallow and Mii Costume Leaker are real)
- Smithy (assuming Mii Costume Leaker is real)
- Chocobo
- Some other Square ones (obvious bias, but I would kill to see Sephiroth and Sora end up here; that would be one of the greatest things to happen for me personally, but I know neither one would end up just being a lousy costume)
Memes aside, Atmoz's model really captures the feel of him being made out of wood. The textures for his head really make it work, though the pupils look weird that way alsoI bring you, Geno memes ft. Atmoz's Geno model
I have noticed it, K rool, Banjo and ridley were in the same situation as geno (Forgotten, Almost Irrelevant and not very economically feasible speaking) it is not fair that krool, ridley and banjo enter and that geno stays as a spiritOne thing I feel like no one talks about (at least not that I've seen) is how weird it is we don't have Geno in a world where we have Ridley, K Rool, and Banjo. Those three and Geno are like the four biggest never ever characters and only one of them is missing. It feels wrong. Like he's straight up missing from the roster.
definitely, you don't know how much I'm going to enjoy seeing reactions from people who supported that argument that was invalidated since melee with Mr .G&W and with the Ice ClimbersOnce Geno's confirmed/added into Ultimate, it'll be the final nail in the coffin to even the most diehard of people still pushing the relevancy argument or that he's too obscure.
One problem, there is no E3 this year. Nintendo will do it’s own direct. With direct-caliber smash announcementsYet another reason why I think we're getting 6, 7, and 8 at E3 is because Nintendo is pretty deliberate about unleashing the Kraken for Smash at E3 if you really think about it. The "big" reveals at E3 over the years have been the following: Snake, Megaman, Pac-Man, Ryu, Ridley, and Banjo. Notice anything? All these characters are big deals on their own and all but one are third party megatons. These are headline grabbers. For the ultra pessimistic among us, I can pretty much promise that it won't just be 6 at E3. ARMS in Smash's reception was typically lukewarm at best and blind rage at worst. 99.999999% chance is not going to be the Smash headliner. What does this mean? This means that Nintendo has an ace up its sleeve and it's either going to be 7 or 8.
Would Geno qualify for this? Probably not... I've been backing Geno as far back as the only G word to come out of some of your mouths is "goo goo gaa gaa" and I will be totally blunt in saying that Geno is not likely to be the headliner. Fan favorite? Yes. Super meaningful to the Smash fanbase? Yes. Big on his own? Not really. Your typical fan is not going to flip its **** over Geno. He's a character like Hero or Terry that is definitely a big deal to a lot of fans but not like E3 big. Again, plug in Geno with the 6 I listed in the first paragraph and you can floss while singing the "This One's Not Like the Others" song from Sesame Street. Okay... Who does fit this then?
From my predictions I would heavily side with Crash. Why? Capcom was basically the headliner for 2013 and 2015 so that rules out Dante in my eyes, Lloyd is honestly a Geno caliber character, and Microsoft was the headliner last year so that rules out Chief. In my opinion, Dante, Chief, and Crash are the ones strong enough to carry an E3 or VGA. Again, this isn't a jab at Geno but I feel if he's a Nintendo Direct headliner at his best (definitely not an insult when you consider K. Rool and Cloud got this treatment too). E3 is a whole other beast. E3 has been where Nintendo has made its biggest announcements of the year since, coincidentally, 1996. This is why I'm going to argue that if E3 this year is only a double, 7 is not Geno and I hard slide my chips on the headliner being Crash whether he's 7 or 8.
Except they still planned for E3 happening when making their direct and the original lineup of FP2. Other companies will be making their own digital-only "E3" presentations as well, so it'll still be E3, without the garbage that is the physical E3 itself. The direct will be just as hype as it was originally intended to be.One problem, there is no E3 this year. Nintendo will do it’s own direct. With direct-caliber smash announcements
Does anyone here have Ideas for Geno's Stage;
This is my idea for what that'd look like. Please excuse the high quality of the image.

My idea would be "Let's Get This Show On the Road!", and all of the battles are against characters who represent the Smithy Gang. Not sure what music tracks would be available, so I'll pick whichever fits from the base game.His Classic Mode Campaign name & Opponents;
If Hero is any indication, I think it's safe to say he'll probably come with around 4-5 costumes. As to which ones they are specifically, I think the most likely ones are:What Mii Fighter Costumes get released alongside his Challenger Pack(alongside that Mallow Costume);
This is a face beholden to unspeakable horrors.Just wanted to share that cool Geno 3D render :
There was a problem fetching the tweetIt's one of the most accurate Geno renders Iv'e ever seen. It might look "unperfect" , but so is the Geno doll in the end. It was probably a one of a kind doll made by gaz or his mom. On top of that , I like that they added a layer of depth to where his eyes is.
"Okay listen, I know that we got Ridley, King K. Rool, Banjo & Kazooie and Geno in Smash, but those guys had something going for them. Rex & Pyra will NEVER be in Smash." - Someone in the future.Once Geno's confirmed/added into Ultimate, it'll be the final nail in the coffin to even the most diehard of people still pushing the relevancy argument or that he's too obscure.
If Sephiroth getting in, he sure won¨t is as a Mii costume.
- Sephiroth (SwordFighter), as a Deluxe Costume that comes with One Winged Angel.
look, i'm open to see sora playable due to fan demand and i would love to see 2B as a fighter, but i don't see nintendo being so cruel to make them mii costumes and also i don't see nintendo fighting to have Kingdom content Hearts and not to make playable sora but we all know that IF we have a new Square character in ultimate it will be the last one we have from the company and I feel that its content will be cut in the next smash (Consider that they hardly give Cloud, not to do a "Everyone is here" for a character, boy how ugly would he feel) so let's ask Iwata because square gives us Geno because if it's not now, maybe it will never beBarrel Volcano and Fight Against Smithy, Who Likes Transforming would be pretty good in a medley.
- Fight Against an Armed Boss
- Fight Against Monsters
- Fight Against Somewhat Stronger Monsters
- Still, The Road is Full of Many Dangers
- And My Name's Booster
- Barrel Volcano
- Weapons Factory
- Battle Against Smithy
- Fight Against Smithy, Who Likes Transforming
My idea would be "Let's Get This Show On the Road!", and all of the battles are against characters who represent the Smithy Gang. Not sure what music tracks would be available, so I'll pick whichever fits from the base game.
- Tunic of the Wild!Link (Bowyer) on Geno's Stage (It's a forest stage) {Music track is Fight Against an Armed Boss}
- Male!Corrin (Yaridovich) (Red alt) on Omega Jungle Japes {Music track is Gritzy Desert, or And My Name's Booster if available}
- A Red, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Black Meta Knight (Axem Rangers) on Venom {Music track is Try, Try Again, or Barrel Volcano if available}
- Red Cloud (Boomer) on Castle Seige (2nd version, inside castle) {Music track is King Bowser}
- Ganondorf (Exor) on Omega Spear Pillar {Music track is The Grand Finale, or Weapons Factory if available}
- Grey King Dedede (Smithy) on Midgar {Music track is Bowser's Galaxy Generator, or Fight Against Smithy if available}
- Bonus Stage
- Galleom, with Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Male!Corrin (Mallow) as allies (Smithy's second form) {Music track is Fated Battle, or Fight Against Smithy, Who Likes Transforming if available}
If Hero is any indication, I think it's safe to say he'll probably come with around 4-5 costumes. As to which ones they are specifically, I think the most likely ones are:
These ones would be pretty cool overall as well.
- Geno (Gunner), if they decide to bring it back alongside him for whatever reason.
- Mallow (Hat)
- Smithy (Swordfighter)
- Chocobo (Hat)
And if God hates us for whatever reason:
- Crono (Swordfighter)
- Robo (Brawler), as a Deluxe Costume that comes with his theme song.
- Tifa (Brawler)
- Barret (Gunner)
- Sephiroth (SwordFighter), as a Deluxe Costume that comes with One Winged Angel.
- 2B (Swordfighter), as a Deluxe Costume with a song from Neir Automata.
- Sora (Swordfighter), as a Deluxe Costume with either the main Kingdom Hearts theme or Simple and Clean.
This is a face beholden to unspeakable horrors.

Played it and it has a lot of potential. The creator has done a good job so far. The demo isn’t perfect, but if the developer were to continue building on this and polish it more it could turn out as a pretty good remake of SMRPG.So the guy who's making the Super Mario RPG 3D Remake thing just release a small demo thing for people to play.
Oh man, I would love this! I know this comment is going to draw a lot of strong opinions on the matter, but a FFVII style battle system combined with Mario would be hella cool.Played it and it has a lot of potential. I would personally like to see an official remake go a different direction than the original. Most turn based systems just feel a bit outdated. Although I’m a Smrpg fan, I can’t say just a 1:1 remake is an instant buy for me. I’d prefer something closer to the FF7 remake battle system while handling movement and platform elements closer to some of the 3D Mario games like 64 or galaxy.
I'm not sure if there were any retail-exclusive amiibos for Smash Bros. Ultimate. (which is a huge relief) As for scalping, who knows? I feel like they've been easier to find for the most part, though that's only going by my area. (the only Smash Ultimate amiibo that I've wanted but couldn't find was K. Rool, compared to Smash 4 where they were virtually impossible to get for some waves unless you pre-ordered them or had a lot of free time on launch day)If we do get a Geno amiibo, do we have to worry about it being a retailer exclusive or potentially scalping?
I just ask because of the horror stories surrounding Palutena, Wii Fit Trainer, and Rosalina amiibos being popular targets of itI'm not sure if there were any retail-exclusive amiibos for Smash Bros. Those were years ago. People don't really care about amiibos like they did back then, so Geno is definitely safe from scalping.I just ask because of the horror stories surrounding Palutena, Wii Fit Trainer, and Rosalina amiibos being popular targets of it
I know that Wii Fit Trainer got that treatment for being from a lesser-known franchise in the first wave. Marth and Villager had similar issues. I can't say that I've heard horror stories about Palutena, though I'm not sure how many of the stories about people buying lots of Rosalina amiibos are exaggerated.I just ask because of the horror stories surrounding Palutena, Wii Fit Trainer, and Rosalina amiibos being popular targets of it

There's the Mariotehplumber bit with Rosalina, but that's the only one confirmed.I know that Wii Fit Trainer got that treatment for being from a lesser-known franchise in the first wave. Either way, demand isn't as insanely high as it was back then - it's a shame that Nintendo doesn't use amiibo functionality for more games (Bowser's amiibo was a huge help in Mario Odyssey), but I mainly get them for the collectible aspect.
No, I'm sure if we ask nicely, FatMan will offer us a discount scalp price.If we do get a Geno amiibo, do we have to worry about it being a retailer exclusive or potentially scalping?
KKR is thankfully coming soon (assuming it won't be delayed due to Corona) in a restock wave and I managed to snag a preorder from Best Buy. I won't be surprised if Geno has a limited run and ends up being one of the stupidly rare ones. Also won't be surprised if some of the scalpers end up being Geno detractors.I'm not sure if there were any retail-exclusive amiibos for Smash Bros. Ultimate. It'll be the only amiibo I will aggressively pre-order, besides BK who also hasn't been announced yet. Excluding KKR, I only have 4 amiibo (Tom Nook which I got for NL extra content, and the Mario Wedding 3-pack I basically got for free when SMO came out); I don't collect them by any means, just wanting to pick up the few that I really like.
Somewhere deep down I think we all know that's not true. Ice climbers should have been the final nail in that coffin, let alone pit, K Rool, Banjo, and many others. They're never going to stop that argument. It will just be "well yeah Geno got in but he was ridiculously popular. This character I don't want is irrelevant and not literally the most popular character in speculation so it's deconfirmed".Once Geno's confirmed/added into Ultimate, it'll be the final nail in the coffin to even the most diehard of people still pushing the relevancy argument or that he's too obscure.
Yeah, no. I'm stopping at KKR, BK, and Geno... and any others in FP2 if I actually give a crap about them (Paper Mario? Might get Wah(?) since I know he'll be sold out).I, too, started to only get the ones I really liked.
........it all went downhill from there.
it definitely ain't the oot HD remake we've seen that's for sure....Played it and it has a lot of potential. The creator has done a good job so far. The demo isn’t perfect, but if the developer were to continue building on this and polish it more it could turn out as a pretty good remake of SMRPG.

About that, that amiibo restock got pushed back atleast a week ago, they were supposed to be out on the 17th apparently but they all got changed to "Not Announced".KKR is thankfully coming soon (assuming it won't be delayed due to Corona) in a restock wave and I managed to snag a preorder from Best Buy. Big fat rip me. As long as I eventually get it though, I don't mind. I'm in no rush, just eventually want him without spending a small fortune on a piece of plastic.About that, that amiibo restock got pushed back atleast a week ago, they were supposed to be out on the 17th apparently but they all got changed to "Not Announced".
id replace club penguin with Waluigi but this is a nice list. Mike Jones would be a welcome oldschool additionmy fighters pass 2 wishlist includes geno, a man can dream:
This. A lot of the people of this variety will never let go of their bad ideals even after they get proven wrong time and time again. I'm sure some of the people screaming that spirits deconfirm will still try to cling on to that rule even if the Arms character is a spirit. Hell, I've already seen a post saying as much as "Well, Arms character could be a spirit, but they probably won't upgrade any more after that." They don't give up easy or at all, they'll just find more and more loopholes to blindly hate on every character until Smash is no longer being made or the heat death of the universe happens.Somewhere deep down I think we all know that's not true.
