Since none of the other DLC characters have come with any, it's probably not gonna happen, but I think it'd be nice if Geno brought Smithy or Belome with him as bosses. Belome could easily have a second phase where he creates a clone of your character to fight alongside him.

Geno isn't going to die, In fact I'd say the press he's managed to get this go around has solidified his place in speculation until he makes it. I mean these are the exact same sentiments I saw catching the end of the smash 4 ridley thread and you know how that ended. Sure many of us might leave, but there are plenty of fresh faces to take up the mantle when we each decide to go, so I'm sure the legend will live on as long as it needs too.

That is actually kind of big. It isn't a leak because it isn't absolutely certain, but VRPlant is pretty high-up in Nintendo, IIRC. Them having this kind of prediction for Doom Marine and Geno is very, VERY interesting, indeed. They may know more than we do (in fact, considering who they are, I'll wager they definitely do), so for them to say that is... preeeeeeetty neat.

Also, VRPlant is likely making predictions on the future, not for Terry's probable drop tomorrow lol. I still expect nothing but Terry goodness tomorrow.

They said there’s no character reveals today. If they show Mallow/Cacodemon mii costumes, inexplicably without any connections to character that they would assumedly be released with... isn’t that bad?

The predictions were never specified to be for the presentation tomorrow. Trust me, if Papa is hyped like this, I doubt it's because Geno is getting costumed again (according to the predictions, note, PREDICTIONS, not LEAKS).

Actually no, PLEASE have Garou Terry. Way more important. It's more about his character and his lore and the lore of the KoF world over having a nice rack.

Extremely reputable leaker, leaked a whole load of stuff and has a literally flawless track record, apparently a guy who must be pretty high up in Nintendo to know what all is up. I don't remember precisely what it was they leaked, but I know that his track record is 100%. I'd place his accuracy on-level with Shinobi (the guy who first leaked Banjo-Kazooie).

I'd agree, but that is in regards to leaks. This isn't even a leak. It's a prediction. Papa makes that distinction very, very clear. If anything, their predictions may be based off of factual information that they currently have due to Terry's presentation. Again, it's a prediction, and that is wholly different.

I actually don't think that'd be good if Mallow and Cacodemon dropped with Terry. Mallow would likely drop with the Geno costume, if such is the case, and Cacodemon with no Doom Marine would essentially disconfirm him. I'd rather that not happen.

Fair enough, I think that's the optimism that Mallow and Cacodemon would drop without the fighters associated with them getting the better of me. It'd bode well for Geno's chances if that were to happen, at least.

Yeah but again it's PREDICTIONS not LEAKS there's a difference.

Predicition is what someone thinks will happen. Leaks is what someone knows and talks about what they know. Plus for all we know he could be giving general predictions for not only this direct but for future characters and whatnot. PapaGenos seems happy about the predictions at least so if they are real I don't think they'll be a bad thing at all.

Regarding the livestream being 45 minutes, between there probably being a bunch of SNK references in this update, Sakurai liking the SNK fighters, and them confirming there's gonna be no new announcements regarding characters, I'm not expecting anything new aside from the next wave of Mii Costumes. Sakurai probably took the majority of people saying they have no idea who Terry is and maybe he wants to fill you all in.

Basically, if anyone of you get pissed off that this ends up just being Terry for 45 minutes you have nobody but yourselves to blame.
