Has he leaked anything unproven so far? As in, that we've yet to have confirmed?

As far as I am aware of, no. If someone knows of an instance of the sort, do correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty darn sure he has a legitimately spotless track record and only leaks (not predicts, different situation) what he knows for sure.

The mii costumes are what we really need to look out for. Not only to ensure that geno isn't on the list but checking to see if the other mii costumes from that 4chan post is on there. If it all lines up, then we win. Tomorrow's direct could be the most important direct in regards to Geno's fate.

Actually no, PLEASE have Garou Terry. Way more important. It's more about his character and his lore and the lore of the KoF world over having a nice rack.

Also, I'm kinda disappointed in all you guys saying you are going to skip it if there is no reveal. Kinda a perfect example of the Smash community, even if much more mundane than most.

It's a good thing he's just a developer and not a family member to all of us, or you all would be crowned Kings and Queens of Rude.

Frankly, I could listen to Sakurai all day long as I love the man, so while you guys sleep I'm going to get my sick af ass up tomorrow on my day off and listen to Sakurai ramble about whatever the **** he wants to ramble about and have that man fill me with life again.

Also, if there is a reveal, I'll laugh at all of you who skimped out in 2009 YouTube style.

I really hope what he found out was an announcement for a smash direct mini happening very soon. Detailing how future dlc will work, next years schedule of amiibo waves, and of course our 2 next dlc fighters. Tbh I really hope the showcase isn't how geno gets revealed anyway I REALLY want a regular direct so I can watch the crowd in the NYC store go ape**** like they always do for good stuff.

Well one good thing to note is that I think this pretty much rules out the mallow and cacodemon coming in loose with terry because papa would know what that means and there is no way he would be describing it as "hype".

Again, just because I posted VRPlant's predictions doesn't mean take them with more than a grain of salt. I do think it's interesting that they nailed Erdrick and Banjo on the head, but again, they nailed ERDRICK on the head, not Hero.

Remember everyone, Mii Costume waves are more often than not centered around the company/series the main fighter comes from, which means that the Mallow and Cacodemon hats are most likely not coming with Terry.

Also, be sure to share that link when it goes live! Nobody wants to accidentally spoil anything for themselves if they happen to miss it live, either by searching on YouTube or Google or elsewhere.

So while VRPlant's predictions APPEAR to be Doomslayer and Geno, PapaGenos' predictions are for sure Doomslayer and "hoping for" Geno. I'm posting this because while Papa has gotten stuff wrong in the past (Grinch leak), i'd say he's definitely much more in the know than he was a year ago, which might make these predictions more educated.

But again, please take it with the tiniest grain of salt imaginable.

This is also because they are higher-up in Nintendo, therefore they probably know the presentation front and back by now, or at least the gist of it. They can't 'predict' what they know. It is just that, a PREDICTION and LIKELY NOT for tomorrow's presentation.

It is NOT a leak. It is NOTHING certain. It is simply speculation on their part, and even though it is fascinating, considering who they are, it is nothing beyond that: a point of fascination.

The misinformation being thrown around already is nuts. I can see why VRPlant didn't want the prediction to get out necessarily. Oof.

ETA: When VRPlant leaks something, he LEAKS something in no uncertain terms. He isn't like Sabi's former NoA source who posts pictures of birds. If they say it's only a prediction, it is just that: a prediction.

There are NO set rules with Sakurai. Every time someone makes one up, I honestly think he does something different just to show them better.

IMO, it is actually smarter to release the Mii Costume first to drive up sells on the costume and tide fans over until the real Geno is released.

I don’t see Nintendo thinking that consumers would buy both the costume and the fighter when they would 100% go for the real thing and most likely not get the costume as seeing there is any point to it...

I guess it's easy to get caught in the moment with how crazy everything's been the past 24 hours. I definitely think it's possible the VR plant leaker's prediction is a bit more than that, but if Nintendo said tomorrow's presentation won't have any unrevealed characters, I'm inclined to believe them. Still though, I think Geno's chances are the highest they've ever been, even since Brawl.

My take on the prediction/leak thing is that it means a prediction based on known but incomplete information. Like, they know that certain content exists, and the prediction is something along the lines of 'Nintendo has this content, and I predict they might show it off at a certain point'.
