VR Plant hasn't heard a new character and probably would have heard something by now, plus the official statement about the video implying no character reveals so we are ASSUMING this all means no newcomer reveal.

It could still happen though and surprise us.

At least if we won’t see Geno playable now, He has still higher chances for then. Also, if they confirm Mallow/Chocobo costumes and not Geno costume; for sure he is happening playable being revealed in December.

I don’t believe that in 45 minutes they will only talk about Terry and 6.0; of course there are more stuff (alternate costumes, MII costumes, 2nd wave of dlc or more properly, Fighter #75.

Anyway, whether showed today or later, he is coming. 100% sure.

When you meant (based on the discord pictures from earlier) that something was going to happen based off of events that had happened that day, what did you mean by that? The CacoMallow leak? (or is that information you can't share)

I think we might get a new mode announcement and details on future dlc, but that’s it, what’s important is the cacodemon doesn’t show up, because then Doomslayer will be pretty much guaranteed, if mallow mii shows up, I think that keeps our chances the same honestly, because now there’s no way Genos a mii costumes

It will be 5 minutes of Terry’s moveset + 40 minutes of Geno revealed + Geno moveset + Geno’s origins + Geno amiibo + Super Mario RPG ported to Switch Library and Super Mario RPG “The 8th Star”, the sequel.

I can dream, right?

I’m expecting a new mode, some Mii Costumes that could potentially make or break the current big leaks, and maybe one big (non-character) surprise.

6:37 here in Texas. Im on the lookout for new DLC info, and mii costumes. Moveset would be cool too competitively but Less concerned about that rn.

Looking forward to this showcase. I will love to see the reaction of one person in particular to Terry. As for what I expect, no new character, of course, but still something new that will take us by surprise.

I 100% believe Nintendo said there would be no new fighter announcement today. Yes, Sakurai can troll, but it doesn't happen all the time you know. The Mii costumes are what most of us are going to pay attention to. I can't wait to see what's in store during this presentation. Prepare for some surprises.

You meaning to tell me that when say they weren't showing any new fighters they meant it? lol. It's silly that people were thinking there would be another reveal.

Five more minutes! Here are my predictions before the show starts:
  • Terry getting a new trailer
  • Sakurai telling us about SNK, Fatal Fury, and the King of Fighters
  • Sakurai has a Neo Geo next to him in the announcement picture, so maybe he'll play Fatal Fury for a bit?
  • Multiple background characters on Terry's stage
  • Input controls
That's all I got. My body is ready!

Most of us believed Nintendo, you cabbage. But it's always nice to have that extra confirmation

4 minutes until go-time. No big epic speeches this time, but things are looking better than ever for our star boi and I am more than certain that today will bear great tidings for us.
