for us, it comes out tomorrow! getting it straight away
also verm, i've been following the pokeyman gen 5 metagame since the japanese release, if needs be i can help you out with it. its not all that hard to catch up with it, stealth rock is still big, however less pokemon can have it now because its not a TM.
the greatest tank to ever exist was made in gen 5, and its english name is ferrothorn. it can have stealth rock, spikes and leech seed (although its been banned in competitive play to have all 3)

also, due to 'dream world' abilities i.e: abilities only gotten through a side game. certain old pokemon are now extremely good, or have gotten even better, for example, breloom got technician, so mach punch breloom is now amazing. and gliscor got poison heal (you now can never kill it)
and politoed is now extremely good, because it can hav the ability 'drizzle' so rain teams were extremely broken, but for the time being having a team with drizzle and swift swim is banned

also for now, garchomp and salamence are currently NOT banned from OU play, and neiher is deoxys-S

as for the new good pokemon, you have the aforementioned ferrothorn, which is good when paired with jellicent (or alternatively tentacruel) there are some new amazing bulky sweepers in the form of rankurusu (think that is it *** name) and conkeldur, psychic and fighting respectively
the pokemon chandelure is the best fire type to exist without being legendary, 140 base spec atk and the ability shadow tag means it is the best steel killer in the game (sadly removing my bro magnezone's reason for existence) also the pokemon excadrill is truly amazing when its in a sandstorm, and still rather bukly.
there are tons others, but they are the main players thus far

It's not banned from having all three. It literally cannot have all three at the same time. It gets Leech Seed and Stealth Rock from Torterra, Stealth Rock and Spikes from Crustle, and Leech Seed and Spikes from some poke I'm forgetting, but you cannot actually have all three moves on it at the same time by legal means.

Before you go, I should let you know that in terms of dream world abilities, competitive play only features pokemon that actually have their abilities released (as in dream world pokemon you can actually use on your DS), so you don't have to worry about Shadow Tag Chandelure, Mach Punch Breloom, or Perversity Smuglord (screw Serperior) right now. Just in case you want to build a team it's good to know what you should prepare for and what you don't have to fear just yet.

I always liked the Pokemon card game better but I stopped playing it years ago. I use to play Pokemon ruby and sapphire and even bought Collesium on GameCube which was kinda cool but I never got into the competitive scene for it.

Same, Spliz. I tried assembling a team in Pearl once upon a time, but I never followed through. I didn't have action replay or Pokesav, so I had to manually grind my Pokemon, which I wasn't okay with. >_>

My team was good enough to piss people off and **** casuals, but never good enough to be considered a serious competitive team.

You go do that. Just keep in mind that with every second that passes, there may be a moment where your defenses may not be where they want to be or where your physical and mental fortitude are just the slightest bit compromised. In Europe, it officially comes out today. But I got my hands on it yesterday =D

And yes, the competitive scene is quite complicated, but as long as it's fun, it's worth it imo

he kinda looks like Ganon IMO. He's a mix of Ganondorf and beast Ganon, assaulted by a flamethrower.

It says the security system of our wireless isnt compatible with my DS.

My immune system sucks. I rarely get sick, but when I do it is *always* during weekends or breaks from school (which is quite a blessing, but Ganon has never liked blessings).

well see its a little known fact that when someone stops working, their immune system will also work at a slower rate, therefore meaning any illness one could have been in the process of battling will just run it over and get @ you

also, entering LT with ganon in dogusch, will let you know how it goes when i get back
