Hmmm so I've been looking at floating points in Brawl... and apparently holding up during warlock punch reduces our momentum forward? Was this known at all?

Same thing for Falcon Punch.

Both.

Punch floats
2218C 0.125 ?? (read on punch)
22190 0.7 Momentum forward on ground
22194 45.0 ?? (read on punch)
22198 0.8 Momentum forward in air
2219C 0.92 Momentum from holding up

errr sorry it's more momentum.

Could help the Warlock Punch recovery.

0.8 represents the momentum you get on an aerial warlock punch.
0.92 is how much you apparently get if you're holding up during it.

No it grants you additional momentum
I always felt like the reverse falcon/ganon punch helped when recovering, interesting to see why that is o.O Good find

I always noticed holding up pushes you forward a bit after the punch. I don't think it has anything to do with the reverse warlock punch momentum.

ALSO

I'm going to Vengeance in OH this weekend. First tourney for me in a few months. Hype

Looks like Karamity and Ocean gave people Apex shoutouts recently. I was finally able to get mine translated.

That makes everything much easier to understand.

Verm (Ganon user)
He was a Dio believer Ganon user. His appearance was muscular and cool.
He appears to be America's best Ganon user, and he was saying that he wanted to fight with Dio for the top spot someday! He seemed like he really wanted to meet Dio!

(Still don't know what a "Dio believer" is, though)

verm Ganon ○○ +5$
Real Ganon
His guard was too strong and he B sidestepped me a lot.
I was nervous because during both of our matches, I had 1 stock and my damaged exceed 80%.
Someone asked me who's Ganon was stronger, his or Dio's, so I told him that they're pretty equal.

LOL @ Muscular comment

I got 13th out of 78 at Vengeance.

1st seed in pools going mostly Ganon, beating Luckay4Lyphe and Kel. I fought Luckay on livestream and beat his Pit with Ganon game 1, but had to use secondaries against his Pika... Ganon vs. Pika is awful.

In bracket I used Ganon when I could... unfortunately I got a lot of really bad Ganon MUs in bracket. Got a bye round 1, then I 2-0'd MX's :yoshi2: with :falco:.

Next in winner's was Ally, who I went all :ganondorf: against. He 2-0'd me but they were both really good matches. I know the first match got saved, maybe the second one too, I'll try to get someone to upload them. I felt like I was on top of my **** against Ally, but everything Snake was doing was beating out everything Ganon was doing lol. Ftilt is dumb lmao. Honestly though I was really impressed by Ally at this tournament. I haven't seen him go all Snake in bracket in almost 2 years, so I forgot how good it really was. He was ****ting on everyone lmao. Ally's the only Snake I know who plays Snake like he's a real character, and not a campy tilt machine. Good **** ally.

Anywayssss... next was FAE I believe. I opted not to go Ganon against him because he's very good at the MU (plus Ganon vs Lucas is awful) and has beaten my Ganon the last two times I played him in bracket, so I went Falco instead and 2-0'd him. And I don't regret it lol.

Then finally I lost to Roller's ICs... I don't want to talk about it lol. ICs are so ****in dumb and I'm really salty about it. I didn't use Ganon though because it's ICs.

Anyways this is my first time getting top 16 at a regional, and this was a pretty stacked as far as regionals go so I'm satisfied overall.

it's a lot of fun. I play Valentine, the ninja nurse chick... also I'll probably pick up Painwheel, who's like the Ganondorf of skullgirls lol.

DLA took 9th at Vengeance if i remember correctly.
He's also a very talented player.

I comain. And doing good with ganon isn't easy.
As a Zelda you should understand that lol.
I'm neither a "player" nor am I "complaining" at all. Just setting the record straight. I mean
just beat my brother with Ness, against his Metaknight, so there IS hope in smash's balance.

Thank god for controller unplugging.

No.

Been there done that...?
You guys are out your ****ing minds if you think you can convince me that some guys Ganondorf is a serious threat in today's metagame. No disrespect to the dude himself, he's a boss for doing well with such a limited character. Pit him against a player who knows how to break Ganon in half or hell, a noob with some MK and watch what happens. I'm not 100% sure, but i'm positive that Gdorf relies on gimmicks to win.

Papa Mink, you don't say? **** I didn't know that? Fun fact, I already addressed already (brawl low tiers are a special kind of bad) but keep trying, i'm surely you'll impress SOMEONE with your badass "cool and aloof I know everything" schtik.
uhhhhh have you SEEN the ganon gauntlet videos from APEX 2012? if not go look them up, these ganons make half decent players their *****es.

Have fun.

Well, guys, I've actually managed to get a tourney together. To my ineffable astonishment, the turnout's looking higher than most NE tourneys. It's this Sunday.

Let's see what PacNW's made of.

Yeah best of luck. I know how difficult it is to run something, particularly from a dead area -__-
